About Me
I am ofsted registered with all the relevant qualifications and insurances. Up to date First aid and safeguard training. I have over 20years experience in childcare.
I am a very energetic, positive person, I love being creative and spending time outside exploring with children. I am a firm believer that children learn through play and am always thinking of new and exciting ways to add learning opportunities into our daily activities.
I live in Tenterden, my house is safe and secure, with lots of space for messy/creative activities, as well as quiet spaces for the children to relax. I have a large garden including a pond, large lawned area and some woodlands too, I encourage outside learning as much as possible during most weathers, and base my curriculum on forest school inspired learning. This helps children develop self confidence, independence and self esteem.
My Experience
After leaving school at 18 I worked in a nursery for 4 years which is where I qualified with nvqs in childcare. I then went straight on to work for 3 families from the nursery as their nanny. I enjoyed nannying so much that I continued doing it for 11 years. Working with newborn babies just days old, all the way up to 11 years. I have worked with families with only one child and families with four children too! I have also worked with families with twins and have had some experience of being a night nanny.
I have my own children with me when I work and feel incredibly lucky that I can combine work and parenting, and have so much fun whilst doing it too! I am now a mother of three and in 2019 I decided the next natural step for me was to start childminding, my setting is called Little Lilah’s.

NVQ level 2&3
Pediatric first aid trained
DBS checked
Full and clean driving licence with business use
Up to date EYFS course
Public liability insurance
Up to date safeguarding course
My Availability
I am open during term time and half of the school holidays too. My setting is open between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm Mon- Fri. However I can be flexible so please contact me regarding hours. I like to work closely with parents to ensure each child will receive the best possible type of care that you as a family prefer, and that works best for you and your child.
