About Me
I am fun, creative, outgoing and love seeing children reach their full potential whilst enjoying themselves. After many years working in nurseries from being a practitioner to a deputy manager and a being a nursery nurse on Brighton maternity unit I now work as a baby & preschool swim teacher, provide relief hours in a well known nursery during the holidays and also a learning mentor in a secondary school so have knowledge and experience across all ages! I love taking children on nature walks to explore our beautiful city and the countryside which surrounds it, as well as down time at home with sensory activities and games to enrich their learning.
My Experience
I am mum to my 5 year old son Isaac and also a baby & preschool swim teacher. I have been a swim teacher for a year now teaching essential safety skills to newborns up to 5 year old children. I also work with teenagers in a secondary school as a learning mentor providing support in their learning and also any other areas they may need some guidance with! Before this I was a nursery nurse for babies needing extra support on the post natal ward in the Brighton. I have been working full time with children now for around 10 years now, in this time I have had experience of being a live in and live out Nanny and worked at different levels in a nursery, most recently being a deputy manager in an Ofsted Outstanding nursery. I am highly experienced in newborn care, babies, toddlers and children up to 15 years old.
My Qualifications
I hold a Level 3 qualification in Children's Care, Learning and Development. From working in the hospital I am trained in supporting with breastfeeding for all those new mums out there needing some support! I now also have my safety for teachers award (basic life guarding and first aid) and a level 2 baby and preschool swim teaching award.
Safeguarding certificate and also on the DBS update service.
My Availability
I work in the pool/school during the week however have weekends available for babysitting! Sometimes this may be with my little one coming along dependent on the hours. My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
I charge £13-16 per hour depending on hours/location as my fees include petrol. Please message me and we can discuss my fees further.
