Hello my name is Andrea I am a fully qualified/experienced childminder based inbetween cannock and hednesford. I offer care full and part time. Plus funded hours for all 3 and 4 year olds and eligible 2 year olds. This includes the 30 hours of free childcare where eligible.
.I have over 18 years childcare experience including baby unit managerial experience.
I am fully crb checked, and hold certifications in Paediatric first aid, child protection, food hygiene plus many more.I also regularly attend.
I have a lovely lady called Tara who works alongside me as my assistant.
We feel that being two childcare providers has huge benefits including being able to offer more one on one care where required (quiet times/settling in/ one to one activities etc) Plus there is 2 pairs of hands and two pairs of eyes which is always a bonus when we are busy having lots of fun and learning both inside and outside the setting
We offer flexible fun filled childcare in a warm, friendly, home from home environment with a recently upgraded setting which includes a purpose built 44ft long playroom.
We feel children learn the most when they are having fun, so we aim to provide a range of activities and outings including sensory play, art and craft, cooking and outings such as the park, library, local goups, nature trails, duck feeding etc.
We are also available for school drop offs/collections, school holiday care, emergency childcare and babysitting. We also offer wrap around care for nurseries in the area.
My Experience
I began working with children in May 2000 and quickly achieved my childcare qualification. I worked for over 5 years within a private day nursery with ages birth to 5 years, and also was a manager of the baby unit.
I left that nursery after having my first child and after maternity leave decided to find more flexible working hours. This then included childminding and working part time in a nursery (ages birth to 5).
I was then offered a deputy managing position of an after school club with wrap around care which I worked at alongside my childminding. (senco (special educational needs) coordinator within my work place)
I have since left there (2009) to concentrate on childminding and offer children/parents in my care more flexible hours to suit there childcare needs.
I also babysit for many of the children I have childminded for.I have also had experience of caring for children with challenging behaviour, and autism.
Tara has several years of childcare experience including caring for her own children and also currently runs a playgroup on a Friday morning

childhood illnesses ..... allergies/asthma
I also offer funded sessions for 3 and 4 year old children for upto 30 hours per week, and eligible 2 year olds.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £5.00 per hour
Fees are £4.00 per hour, rates vary in accordance with requirements. Sibling discount offered
