After initially registering in 1996 and having a break in 2011... I love this job an RE-REGISTERED again on 20th December 2018.
I therefore have many years experience as a Registered Childminder and returned to this career to fulfil my passion to help others. Caring is from the heart.
I have a CACHE level 3 qualification in Childminding Practice and a DBS check that is registered with the update service and .
I have currently qualified as a Child & Adolescent Mental Health Coach and am now studying the level 5 Parent Coaching qualification.
In January 2023 I renewed my Paediatric First Aid certificate and continue to update necessary training; documents of which can be seen on my profile...updated training includes recent 2 day Youth Mental health 1st Aider, Paediatric First Aid, level 3 child protection, food hygiene and safety, child sexual exploitation and FGM awareness, Equality and Diversity, ADHD Awareness, Autism Awareness, Dyslexia Awareness, Reflective Practice in Early Years, Setting up your Childminding Service, Supporting Early Language Development, An Introduction to the GDPO, Equality and Inclusion in Early Years, Autism Awareness, Data Protection
I have a massive garden that is currently being rehauled that is in 2 sections.
I have a log cabin at the end of my garden which is used for Holistic Treatments.
There is approximately 6m x 10m area, a sufficient space for children to play and explore to increase their out door skills. Play areas consist of artificial grass, slide and sheltered areas/playhouses on a wooden decked area with a small bridge for role and sensory play.

Over the previous years I have cared for many children ranging from 3 months old to age 11 when moving onto secondary school and have had 6 of my own children (one of whom had a rare heart condition) so am confident in my daily tasks, activities and small amount of special needs knowledge and all types of care.
I currently live with my 2 children aged 17, and 8 and go to regular activities in the community to stimulate each age and stage of their developments of which I would continue to do with your child/ren along with baking, crafts and more.
I love helping people and am very caring and flexible and open to any communication to resolve issues. I am 100% committed to the things I undertake.

My fees start at £6.50 per hour, I offer unsociable hours and ADHOC care at a premium rate.

Donna is absolutely amazing at what she does . She's been looking after my 2.5 y old daughter for a few weeks now and she's had a great time. There's always a lot of fun things set up for the day , parks , activities. Every evening i picked my little girl up she was very happy and content and spoke with joy about things she's done throughout the day. I found Donna very honest, kind, caring and easy to communicate with.

Donna is an amazing childminder..she is very good at multi tasking ,very flexible and so caring ❤. she does loads of activities such as soap making ,baking pizzas ,chocolates ,with the kids .she takes them to parks .she is a very kind hearted person..she always tries to help us parents wherever she can .she is always honest with everything and that is her biggest strength x we will miss her x
