About Me
Hello parents. My name is Nikki and I have been an Ofsted Registered Childminder since February 2001.
I chose to become a Childminder as I have always loved to work with children. I believe children deserve listening to, giving lots of attention, affection, quality time, learning through fun activities and happiness in their everyday lives. Whatever their circumstances or background, I feel all children need to be treated as individuals and cared for accordingly. I pride myself on providing a caring, fun and stimulating, safe home from home environment, with a structured day for learning through play. I regularly attend playgroups, local parks, the duck pond and library. I plan days at home where I provide varied activities and resources which help stimulate and support their development whilst having fun! We regularly sing songs, have story time, make our own playdoh, use art & crafts, duplo, lego, dressing up and make believe. I have a safe and secure garden with a variety of outdoor toys. I have 5 children of my own, 3 still living at home and a little chihuahua. My last Ofsted inspection was 24/04/2025 where I received a GOOD. As I am a Gold member you are able to message me freely. My Experience
I have been a childminder for 24 years and attended many courses and workshops to keep up to date with requirements and regulations and have put in place various Polices and Procedures to support my work as a responsible, professional childminder.

Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Health & Safety, Data Protection, EYFS.

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
£8.00 per hour 8.00am - 6.00pm
Childcare vouchers accepted.
Meals are not included and parents are asked to provide these for their child in a lunchbox or sealed container.

Nikki is the best childminder.
My son was with a childminder before Nikki and she really let me down in the way she treated my son. I lost all faith and trust in childminders.
I had to find another childminder and got in touch with Nikki. My son has been with her for a long time now. Nikki is very trustworthy, friendly, approachable, caring, kind, considerate and just amazing. My son loves being at Nikkis and has made great friends there. My son is well looked after in her care. I go to work and relax as I know my son is safe, cared for and having so much fun.
He always comes out so happy when i collect him.
Even though my son has now started pre school where we live, I have kept him going to Nikkis in the school holidays because he is so happy there.
Nikki always makes you feel welcome. Very efficient with all paperwork and invoices. Very professional. Gives feedback of how my son has been and what they have been doing.
Nikki's house is so lovely and child friendly with lots for the children to do.
Not only a childminder but considered a friend.

My husband and I work full time so needed someone reliable, trustworthy and loving for our two sons 5 and 3.
My youngest was at Nursery and he used to cry every day! (Heartbreaking.)
My eldest, going into Reception. (Lump in my throat!)
How could I find someone which could help me with both??
The day My husband and I met Nikki we just knew when we walked in the door that she was "The One!"
After making us feel welcome, showing us the copious amounts of paperwork Ofsted requires and the beautiful learning journeys we didn't hesitate at asking " Great, where do we sign up?"
I decided to pull my youngest out of nursery and send him to Nikki full time.
He now talks about Nikki All the time, even wanting to visit her on the weekends! Always giving her lots of kisses and cuddles.
Nikki is trustworthy, honest and reliable. She is also very active with the boys and gets them outdoors which I feel is very important!
I'm gutted now that our journey is nearing an end however we will always remain friends with Nikki, she's now apart of the family! Thank you Nikki!
