An amazing Childminder!!

We had our 2 year old toddler with Carla since October and could've noticed how developed our son became in a short time. Everyday our son would learn new words and expressions. Our son loved to be in there and he felt very comfortable close to Carla. Carla is very caring and lovely. We are so sad that we had to leave the town. I doubt that we will find such an amazing Childminder like Carla. We will miss her a lot. I highly recommend Carla as a childminder. You could be sure that your kids will be sharing a caring and safe environment, lots of activities, fun and learning. She will always will update you with pictures of fun activities.

Outstanding Childminder - Carla Brenton

Carla is a first class childminder and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for childcare in the Hamble/Southampton area.

Choosing childcare can be a daunting task and, for us, it felt like a huge decision. Carla was highly recommended to us by a work colleague and, having met with her, my husband and I both knew straight away that she was the one! Carla looked after our daughter, followed by our son, for a period of just over four years.

Having had four of her own children and having looked after many others, Carla is highly experienced and this really comes across through Carla's calm, positive manner. She is extremely warm and welcoming, which immediately puts you and your children at ease, and she treats the children in her care as if they were her own, with lots of close individual attention. Our son was very shy with pretty much everyone outside our family, but it didn't take long for him to feel safe and secure with Carla; he has really thrived in her care.

Carla gives a lot of thought to organising fun, engaging activities to do with the children, including lots of sensory play, small world games, and arts and craft. She also regularly takes the children on outings, including the zoo, farm and play centres, as well as plenty of trips to the park, woods, seaside and library. The children clearly love being with Carla and our own children used to really look forward to their days with her.

Carla has an impressive work ethic, she's really well organised and is always polite and friendly. She also communicates clearly with parents and gives lots of notice of any holidays.

There's lots more I could say but, most importantly, I can unreservedly vouch for Carla's excellent character, her vast experience, and her outstanding commitment to providing a high standard of childminding. A good childminder provides a happy, safe space for children, but an excellent one goes that extra mile - and that's Carla!

Extremely happy :)

We have used Carla to look after our little boy for the last 5 months. He can be a challenge and very clingy but settled in with Carla better than we could have dreamed. During the last 5 months he has come on leaps and bounds with his walking, talking and ability to play and socialise with other children. Carla is excellent at communicating how his day has been and provides a variety of activities for him each day. We feel very lucky to have found Carla to look after our little boy while we are at work and would not hesitate to recommend her to others.
