Kelly took wonderful care of daughter. My wife and were visiting Broadstairs from out of town and were hoping for a night out, given the right sitter. Kelly was absolutely that person! With little noticed, she gracefully stepped in for us. We felt so comfortable with her in our home and with our daughter. Her wonderful reviews, extensive experience, and professional manner left us knowing that we had chosen the right care giver. If you are in her catchment, look no further - thank you Kelly!

We’ve had Kelly a couple of times now to look after my granddaughter when I’ve been out for the evening and my son working. Arrives promptly and Marni loves her. Felt comfortable right from the start. Highly recommend Kelly 😊

Kelly is such a happy, kind and positive presence when looking after our 2 children (aged 5 & 7). They are very happy in her company. We’ve also found Kelly to be very reliable and communicative - Kelly feels like the 5th member of our family and really helps us to navigate a busy work / family life.

Kelly is such a brilliant babysitter. My three year old daughter (and dog!) love her and she is so friendly, warm and personable. She has been a big support and help for me through a difficult time and I recommend her highly!

Kelly has cared for our son, as both a childminder and a babysitter, for more than three years and is calm, organised, confident and loving. Childcare days were full of fun and educational activities and our house is full of craft work that we can’t bring ourselves to part with! The children have formed strong friendships which they’ll be taking with them into their new lives at school.
Babysitting evenings are super easy, as Kelly and our son know each other so well he’s instantly at ease and he will always be thrilled to see her.

Kelly babysat for our 7 month old girl whilst we went out for dinner. She arrived early and put us at ease and reassured us as we were a bit nervous about leaving our baby with a stranger for the first time. We had a lovely uninterrupted night out and Kelly comforted the baby the couple of times she stirred. We can’t wait for Kelly to come over again!

Kelly started looking after my son Jake in January he was 11 months old. I work part time in the middle of the day, kelly is very flexible. Before I went back to work Jake had started going through a clingy phase so I was a little worried how he would be without me. Going back to work was the best thing for Jake he enjoys going to Kellys playing with other children she has a lovely bright playroom which is every child's dream ! Jake was a shy clingy 11 month old now Kelly opens the door he runs in and doesn't look back. Kelly is always bright, cheerful and full of energy and has a lovely family. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a fun loving caring reliable childminder.

Kelly has been looking after my daughter since October 2013 during the school holidays. Despite the gap in visits my daughter always looks forward to going, and will often be taken out on day trips and outings that are inclusive. Kelly is nurturing in approach, but also impliments appropriate boundaries and my daughter has developed a strong bond with her. Kelly encourages friendships amongst the children she looks after, encourages learning activities and will always feedback about the day. My daughter often talks of Kelly's family and is fond of them all. I feel comfortable with knowing my daughter is being looked after by Kelly and would recommend her to anyone in need of a childminder!X

We met Kelly in August 2013. She was recommended to us by Holy Trinity school due to her high professional standards. Our son felt pleased and comfortable with Kelly from the very first day and he really adores her. We need Kelly's help quite intensely- 5 days/week as well as a significant part of the school holidays. Sometimes we ask for extra hour sessions and she is extremely flexible and understanding. Kelly has a lovely family (2 children, husband and house pets) and my son is very fond of all of them. I trust Kelly and I think my son is safe and very happy with her and this is all that matters to us, his parents. Thank you so much Kelly, and thank you to your gorgeous family!

My son has been with Kelly since he was one year old, and now he is nearly 4 years old.
Kelly is cheerful at anytime: from the moment of greeting us at the door in the morning to the picking up time in the eveing . Very consistant.
She is also professional as I can see she is proud of her job and enjoying to have children around.
My son goes to her during holiday time and he is treated with many different activities each day.
I feel very luckey to find Kelly who is very flexible and reliable.
My job is irregular, she save me many times for emergency!
I had my friend recommendation to dicide, now I can give mine to people who is looking for a good childminder in this area.

I have known Kelly since 2005, when her son and my daughter became friends in the Reception class of Holy Trinity, Ramsgate. She has always been friendly and trust-worthy, so it was a relief when the time came for me to return to work full-time, to be able to employ Kelly to look after my 3 children (age 8+), for drop-off and pick-ups from school.
I have complete peace of mind when the children are with Kelly and know that they are being well-looked after. The children have enjoyed interacting and playing with the younger children Kelly cares for too, which has noticeably improved their patience and understanding with their own younger family members!
Kelly has always been flexible and understanding, accommodating the children when they have wished to attend after-school clubs too... I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Our son 'George' has been going to Kelly 3 days a week since he was 7 months old, so for nearly a year now. What can I say apart from George absolutely adores her! Every day when he goes, I ask him if he 'wants to go and see Kelly?' And he is frantically nodding his head! And when we pull up outside her house he is kicking his legs in excitement. It is so lovely to see that he is happy to go to her. As a working parent it is so difficult to trust someone with your nearest and dearest as you would love to be taking care of them yourself. It took me 4 visits to different childminders before I found 'the one' and at Kelly's it just felt right, something seemed to click, whether it was from her kind loving nature or maybe it was just because she was simply interested in my son and what he liked and his welfare. That is what is most important to me and clearly was and is to Kelly too. George thrives on the variety of activities and outings he goes on, he is a very outdoors'y kind of boy and loves that everyday is different, it may be going to a toddler group or the local park, or further afield to zoo or a soft play area. Without a doubt George loves Kelly and she is part of his life, even attending both his and his sisters birthday parties. I would and have highly recommended Kelly to friends and will continue to do so because excellent child minders are very few and far between xx

Kelly Stroud has looked after my two daughters now aged five and seven since 2011. I have always needed flexible and part time childcare as I work as a cover teacher where my hours change quite often.
Kelly has always been incredibly flexible and has been able to pick up from and drop off the girls to Holy Trinity School at short notice. I never have to worry as Kelly is extremely reliable and easy to get hold of. I also feel very relaxed at work when I know she is picking up my daughters from school. I know that they are in very safe hands.
My girls love Kelly, as she is always happy, friendly and interested in them as individuals. She is always pleased to see them and takes time to speak to them about their day.
I would not hesitate to recommend Kelly. She is cheerful, child-centred and full of energy and in my opinion an excellent childminder.

Isabella joined Kelly when she was ten months and both my husband and I had real doubts and fears about leaving her with anyone as she loved the constant cuddles and attention. From the start Kelly was warm, reassuring and so naturally caring with Issy that our fears were immediately gone. Issy is now genuinely excited on the days she goes there and is clearly very happy with Kelly and the other children in her care.
Every day there are different activities and excursions and we can see that she has always had a stimulating day!
Kelly is flexible, friendly, always happy and is absolutely invaluable: we can't recommend her strongly enough.

When I first met Kelly at a playgroup I mistakenly thought the children in her care were her own. Her warmth and patient approach and her obvious love for her job is reflected in the close relationship she has with the children.
When Alexander was 16 months old, Phil and I decided we needed some help with childcare whilst both juggling work commitments. That was nearly two years ago now and Alexander has grown to love not only Kelly but her family too. We cannot leave them without him giving multiple kisses and cuddles. Kelly doesn't just mind your child, your child becomes part of the extended family.
Kelly is ofsted registered and we have recently received the child development folder Kelly has completed, a lovely photographic leaning story of Alexander's growth and development over the past two years. It's reassuring that whilst in Kelly's care, your child not only receives the love, care and security needed, but they are also being exposed to lots of different envionments and a vast array of fun activities.
Phil and I are extremely pleased with the quality of care Alexander has received, we would highly recommend Kelly to other families needing some support.

Florence joined Kelly when she was 10 months old. Flo has always needed lots of attention, hugs and cuddles. I felt very anxious about asking somebody else to step in and provide that level of care. Kelly gave lots of cuddles and reassurance and carried Florence around until she was confident enough to play independently. Kelly and her lovely family have given our daughter a loving, stimulating, lively environment to grow up in, 3 days a week for 2 years now. Seeing Kelly and the friends that she has made is the highlight of her week. Flo is a happy, thriving little girl because we made an excellent choice for her childcare. I cannot recommend Kelly Stroud highly enough.

Thanks Shelanne, Over the years you have become a good friend, and it is always a pleasure to have Rohan, Luca and Niamh.
My son Albert has been with Kelly now for 6-months and simply adores her! Just walking to her door puts a huge smile on his face! Choosing childcare for your most treasured possession is such a hard job, but from my initial meeting with Kelly in her home, where I met her own wonderful children I knew she was exactly the type of person I wanted to leave my son Albert with. He has such a varied day with her and throughly enjoys himself. Kelly took on board Alberts established routine with ease - and has in fact helped me change some aspects that weren't working! I never ever have to worry about him whilst he is with her as I know he is safe, happy and loved by her and her family. Everyday I get a report of what he has been up, nappy changes etc.. I would recommend any mum to use Kelly for childcare as I truly believe she has enhanced Albert's life already x
