Chelsea is a super star, would highly recommend!

Our son joined Chelsea when he turned 1 year old and spent two wonderful years with her. He was comfortable from day one.
Her house is filled with love and laughter - my son always felt like he was part of one big family. She genuinely cares so much for all the children and provides a fun, loving and nurturing environment.
Chelsea always attends play groups and does fun activities with the kids and is very conscious about the children's health.
We have used other childminders before, but she is by far the most caring, loving and professional one! She really goes above and beyond to meet the needs of each individual child in her care. We feel very grateful to have found her and could not have asked for a better person to look after our son!

My son has been attending Chelsea’s( since he was 13 months) for the past 11 months. He settled quickly and has thrived in her home. His learning there is evident , he comes home singing songs , saying new words and saying his friends names. Chelsea provides a warm, loving and clean home and always fast to reply to a text / call. She does have a dog - which I was reluctant about (I’m not an animal lover) however it’s the tamest dog you will ever meet and really helped my son settle !
As an early years teacher I’m hard to please , I have looked at other settings and none of them matched Chelsea. I would 100% recommend .

Incredibly loving and nurturing childminder

Our daughter has been with Chelsea for nearly a year, starting from when she was nearly 13 months old and I truly could not have asked for a better environment or more caring person for our child. Due to the pandemic my daughter had limited experiences out of our home in her first year, and I fully credit Chelsea and her lovely team for creating a fun, loving, and nurturing environment for my daughter to branch out into-- and with Chelsea, she has absolutely flourished. Every day I pick her up I am amazed at what new adventures she's had, words she's learned, projects she's worked on, and the fun she's had. She has made wonderful friends and it is so wonderful to see her be part of such a lovely little group.

Chelsea is not only unbelievably attentive to the children, but she's also an amazing resource for me as a parent-- as her years of experience makes her input and ideas invaluable to me. She is 100% attuned to every detail of my daughter's health, development, and personality and I trust her opinion implicitly. She's been a wonderful friend to our whole family and I feel incredibly grateful to have met her.

I would 100% recommend Chelsea as a childminder!

Chelsea has provided a warm and caring environment

Chelsea has looked after our 2yo girl and 4yo boy for a few months now. We had been on wait lists to get the 4yo into nursery/school, but even now that he has a part time place he is still spending time with Chelsea too. She provides a warm and caring environment full of positivity, compassion and patience. They do activities and daytrips as weather and timing allows. We are big fans of the creative and messy play. We've also been impressed by her success getting the 4yo to eat at lunchtime, he has often been resistant!

Chelsea is a very caring and welcoming person and we feel like she has made a genuine connection with our little people.

Warm, caring, professional

I have been sending my 12 month old daughter to Chelsea for only a very short time of 2 months. Sadly this is because we are now moving out of the area and will be too far to travel in. We are all really sad to leave Chelsea and also her assistant Tasha who have been both amazing. It is evident that Chelsea is very passionate about children and enjoys what she does, she takes utmost care and nurtures them as if they were her own. My daughter has settled in so well with Chelsea over the last couple of months, it has been great to watch her really come out of her shell! I always looked forward to receiving the regular updates from Chelsea on how the day went and hearing what fun activities they got up whether outside in the garden, feeding ducks or playing indoors!
Chelsea would also provide helpful advice if there was something I wasn't sure of or if my daughter was feeling unwell. Being a new mum I really appreciated the advice.
I particularly enjoyed receiving the Mothers Day and Valentines Day cards that Chelsea helped my daughter make during arts and craft which were so sweet!
The genuine love and care Chelsea has shown towards my daughter over the 2 months I am very grateful. Although our time was short I can't recommend her highly enough!

Excellent Childminder! Highly recommend!

Chelsea has been our childminder for my first year at university, my son started with chelsea in September 2019 just after his 1st birthday and she made leaving our youngest son to go back to education so easy! He was instantly so comfortable and happy and never once cried for me! Chelsea has always been great at communicating how my son was doing during the day, which is very important to me.
Our son has some developmental delays and is being assessed for autism but he made so much progress in Chelsea's care. Her setting is always clean, tidy and welcoming. Chelsea and her assistant were both flexible and as helpful as can be. Both myself and my husband agree that we do not want to send our son to anyone else when I return to uni after covid, as we both trust her with our son 100%.
Chelsea is caring, professional and goes above and beyond to meet the needs of each individual child in her care. As this is my third child I've used various childminders/childcare settings over my 11 years as a mum but chelsea is the best childminder i have used and the one that has made us all feel the most comfortable. I would highly recommend Chelsea, her assistant and her setting to everyone.

Excellent Childcare

My daughter Olivia joined Chelsea when she was 8 months old. Chelsea is an amazing childminder and it is clear that she is very passionate about her job. My daughter Olivia had a suspected dairy allergy which she has now grown out of but Chelsea was great at ensuring that all her foods were dairy free and that Olivia followed her 'milk ladder'.
Chelsea plans her weeks well ensuring that Olivia took part in different activities which were fun, engaging and supported the developed of her learning.

Olivia is also moderately deaf and wears hearing aids and Chelsea has been phenomenal with here from day 1. Chelsea quickly learnt how to handle the hearing aids as well as ensuring that communication with Olivia was always face to face. My daughter is now 2 and her speech is level with hearing children. I have been on furlough since March and will start working again in September and I am looking forward to sending Olivia back. Olivia still asks for Chelsea which to me is a testament of how great Chelsea is. I highly recommend Chelsea as a childminder.

Excellent provider of care for both our children

We initially sent our son to Chelsea for a period of one month before he started nursery. He has mild autism and we wanted a caring environment with a small number of other children. The change in him was dramatic, after being with Chelsea he started being more sociable, more aware of others and was an extremely happy boy. We then sent him to Chelsea every day after nursery, and even though he is now at school he still goes to her for INSET days and and holidays. In the intervening time we had a second child, and when my wife went back to work we also sent the baby to Chelsea to be cared for, so we have had considerable experience of her with both babies and young children.

Chelsea is very professional and conscientious about her work, but combines this with a very caring and loving attitude towards the children in her care. The kids see her as almost a second mother and are very happy to be with her - they miss her when they do not see her for long periods of time. One of things which impressed us initially was her commitment to making sure the children undertake different activities. They have been on trips to the seaside, to the cinema and during an average week go to several stay and play sessions as well as the park.
As well as this the children are also content to play in her home, which is well organised and completely child safe.

When choosing a childminder you are bringing a new adult into your childs life whom they will potentially know for many years (I am still occasionally in contact with my own childminder 48 years later). Chelsea is precisely the kind of person that I want my children to know and to be cared for by, and thus I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Both our children have benefited considerably from being with her, and we consider ourselves lucky to have found her.

Extraordinary and caring professional

Chelsea has been looking after my daughter since she was 6 months old - she is now 20 months.
Before that, she looked after my oldest son, who is now 6. She still looks after him on inset days and school breaks and he loves going to stay at her's. He has high functioning autism and he absolutely adores her.

I can't praise Chelsea's work any higher: she is super kind with the children, but firm enough to teach them manners and politeness.

She takes them to play groups and fun activities, feeds them healthy food, is flexible and accommodating when there are unforeseen changes to our schedules, super conscious about the kid's health, always in contact with either me or my husband if any of the kids is unhappy or unwell.

Both my children run to her when smiling they see her - I don't think there's a better proof of how good she is with them!
