About Me
Located in Salhouse, Mama Bear Childcare which was established in 2018 is an Ofsted registered day care provision based at the home of Marie. Marie shares her home with her children. The provision is located in the conservation village of Salhouse and has good links with Salhouse C of E Primary School, Fledglings Nursery & Pre-school.
We are a non-smoking household.
The childminding service is available between the hours of 7.30am & 5.30pm Tuesday to Thursday.
The setting is able to provide care for children aged from 9months – 3years.
In the setting Mama Bear Childcare has many toys, games & activities on offer; role play, building bricks, dolls, pre-school learning toys, baby suitable toys, train set, dolls house, wooden stacking toys, play kitchen, books, crafts, outside ride on toys, games, sand pit, messy play & bouncy castle. Spike & Milo the Cats.
The setting accepts tax free childcare payments BACS, 9month+ and 2year government funding, term time only. (I do not provide 3/4yr funding)
My Experience
Over 7 years as an early years educator and Childminder experience with 9months to 5 years. Extensive cloth nappy experience.
My Qualifications
Fully qualified to a Level 3 standard in home-based childcare, First Aid Trained, Fully up-to-date safeguarding training and DBS checked & cleared.
My Availability
Currently full.
I will have a Tue, Wed & Thu term time only space from September 2026 for a 9month - 2year old.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
£50.00 per day. Tax Free Childcare accepted as well as all government funding.
