About Me
My name is Alexandra and I am a 27 year old currently working as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist in specialist school for children with a range of of additional needs. Because of this role, I am DBS checked, have completed yearly first aid training, and have many years experience working with children.
I love learning Spanish, spending time outside in the sun, and teaching myself the piano! I love to dance and sing (although very poorly), so I'm ready to participate in home talent shows, karaoke sessions, or pretend to be in the latest Disney musical! However I'm also happy to have a run outside, play a bit of football, and ride bikes.
I count myself as a responsible, energetic, and caring person. I have a huge family, whom I am very close too, so I have many little cousins always running around.
My Experience
As mentioned I have been working as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist for 6 years. I have also helped look after a set of twins from when they were 4 for 2 years.
As a requirement of my university degree (BSc Occupational Therapy), I have had many placements which include working in an inpatient mental health ward for teenagers and working in a primary school as the children's primary occupational therapist. During my university career, I worked for an After School Nanny Service in London where I began interviewing potential nannies and completing reference checks. I was then promoted to customer service where I would answer calls from both parents and nannies. Therefore, I believe I have the knowledge regarding what parents are looking for in a potential nanny/babysitter.
I lived in America for 5 years and babysat children there for 4 years from the ages of 2-8, so I have many years of experience.

3 A - levels in Psychology, Spanish, and Sociology

CPR and first aid trained
Training in child safeguarding
My Availability
I am only available during the school holidays (half terms, Christmas, Easter, and Summer breaks) due to my job of working in a school.
