About Me
Hi my name is Geraldine and I am a registered Childminder living in Kew. I live with my husband and two children who are 7 and 4 years old.
I have over 25 years experience caring for children aged between 6 months and 7 years, working as a Nanny before having children then qualifying as a Childminder 6 years ago.
I have a bright, spacious setting with a large garden, we also live next door to a big park which has a great playground and an outdoor pool in the summer!
In my setting I provide a various array of activities, I follow EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) to create play and activities to encourage the individual child's developmental stage. We enjoy:
Baking
Arts and Crafts
Outdoor Play
Organising trips i.e Kew Gardens, Parks, Playgroups
I create a "Journey Book" for every child which includes photo's of their daily activities and is used to record their different stages of development.
I provide well balanced and nutritious meals which are all home cooked, I am happy to provide any special dietary requirements as my daughter is Celiac (gluten free diet) and have also looked after children who have had other specific dietary needs.
I am a very approachable and friendly person as I believe it is very important to have a good relationship with the parents.
