About Me
Hello, my name is Sarah and I received an "OUTSTANDING" grading on my last Ofsted inspection (January 2023). I am married with 3 grown-up children and live in Longlevens in a quiet cul-de-sac. I have been childminding as an Ofsted Registered Childminder since 2005. I am a provider of Government funding for the education of eligible 3 & 4-year-olds. In April 2024, the funding offer was expanded for eligible parents of 2-year-olds and will be extended again in September 2024 for eligible parents of children aged 9 months old.
Here I offer a warm & fun environment for the children to grow and develop in and make full use of my home to provide a relaxed & caring home-from-home experience. Most importantly we have fun and are always up to something. We do lots of activities both at home and out and about and I do my best to make the most of all the available places to visit right on our doorstep. Being outside and seeing what nature has on offer allows the children to explore their surroundings and enhance their outdoor learning experiences. I have access to a large enclosed garden for outdoor play, lounge, dining room and a lovely playroom with lots of toys for all ages. I live close to children’s playgrounds, large public recreational areas, wooded areas, nature reserve, library and local shops. We attend some lovely local childminder groups where the children can develop their social skills and be part of the community.
My Experience
I have 3 children of my own and have many years of experience. I adore the children I look after and use my experience and knowledge to get the most out of them whilst providing a place for them to find their passions, learn and have fun. I have been childminding children since 2005 and have cared for many siblings of the children I have cared for. I work very closely with all my families and feel very blessed to be able to make a difference and be part of their lives. I have some lovely references (which are available upon request) recommending my services to any future parents who may be interested.
My Qualifications
I have NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development
I am qualified in Early Years First Aid (renewed October 2022)
I accept the 15 hour free government funding for eligible 9m, 2 year olds & 3 & 4 year olds and the extended 15 hours for 3 & 4 year olds.
I accept most workplace vouchers and payments via the Government Tax-Free Childcare Scheme.
I have level 2 in Food Safety (recently updated January 2023)
I have attended SENCO training
I have completed the Introduction to Childminding Practice.
I have completed the Hygge in the Early Years Accreditation which ensures my setting is a cosy, fun loving, calm and balanced environment to teach and learn in.
I also attend ongoing training in lots of other areas to help me get the best out of my setting and the lovely children I care for.

My eldest son started at Sarah's in Autumn 2021. He had his last day in August this year as he's just started school. My eldest struggled with his emotions for a long time. Sarah had the right approach and patience to help him deal with his emotions. He absolutely loved going to Sarah's house and made some really great friends there. My youngest is still at Sarah's and will be there for another 2 years.
He loves going ❤️!
They go on lots of Sarah adventures and are always busy. They love playing in Sarah's garden. Sarah always has lots of different activities for them to do! We love the pictures and daily diary we receive everyday they are there. They love the food at Sarah's! Billy said especially all the pancakes!
We are so glad we found Sarah!
She really is one of a kind xx

Sarah has been our Childminder for the past 6 years, looking after both of my children from around 10months up until starting school.
I honestly couldn’t have asked for more from her. From the first day I walked in to her home to view the setting, I knew it was the place for us. Her home is warm and inviting with ample outdoors space to play, as well as a cosy, well equipped playroom.
She takes the children out regularly, to parks, forage in nature, childminder groups local attractions and more. She really understands and loves the children, and is always looking for new ways to follow their interests.
Sarahs communication is great. We had daily reports of what the children had been up to, accompanied with pictures of all the fun they had been up to along the way.
My children regularly recall the fun times they have had with Sarah and really cherish the time they spent with her.

We are delighted to have found Sarah’s childcare around 4 years ago. Now both of our boys have attended Sarah’s childcare on a weekly basis and both have thoroughly enjoyed the time there. Sarah is incredibly hard working, nurturing and caring and it’s clear that she genuinely loves being a part of their early years development. Sarah is very engaging with us as parents too and we get regular photos and video clips of what they are up to. A lot of thought goes in to the activities that she arranges and the themes are always changing to be relevant throughout the year. Our boys have always come away with smiles on their faces after a happy and fun-filled day, we really couldn’t ask for any more. We would highly recommend Sarah as she is a fantastic childminder and provides first class childcare.

The moment comes way too fast when you have your first baby and you have to leave them for the first time with a stranger, but it has been the best thing we ever did!! Both of my children are with sarah currently aged 3 and 18mths. They started at 8mths and 4mths old and i couldnt trust anyone more with my children than i do sarah! You are always reassured that they are having fun by all the wonderful photos and videos you get throughout the day! The amount of attention they get on themselves and their development and the fun they have is endless.i wouldnt be able to keep up with them if i had them full time at home!Money well spent!! My children eat,eat and eat all day and sarah always feeds their appetite with a variety of snacks and meals included which is fab!The children love days out to the park,picnics,day trips,play groups and so much more. I highly recommend anyone to use Sarah as their childminder and can guarantee your child will be loved and treated like her own!

My daughter started with Sarah at 9 months old, and continued with her right up to going to school. Sarah provides a lovely caring atmosphere that is like home from home. She is a kind, warm hearted and passionate person who always puts the children’s best interests first. I always felt confident with the care my daughter received, Sarah is incredibly conscientious and fantastic at providing a wide range of fun, and creative activities that the children can do. Forest school was always one of Mollys favourites.
Sarah provides a personal approach with daily updates of photos of the activities that the children have been doing.
I always felt Molly gained such valuable experiences from being with Sarah.
