About Me
I am a Portuguese reception teacher. I am a very positive, friendly and energetic person who likes to contribute to a harmonious workplace. I have a lot of experience with children. I have work closely with them for over fourteen years, and eleven of those years on a professional level such as nanny, nursery assistant, childcare and teacher. I take pride in being a professional at what I do, I am very enthusiastic, self motivated and have excellent interpersonal skills. I work extremely well either as being a part of a team or as a leader. I have great confidence in myself and in my abilities as a professional child career.
My Experience
I’m a reception teacher at the moment and I have worked previously with a few families part time where I would pick up the children from school and either do homework with them or take them to activities and/or play dates. I spent 3 years with a family with two children's of 4 years and 2 years. I was a nanny sole charge but the family moved to L.A. and that’s when I decided to apply for schools/nurseries.
Before I used to work with two children of 3 and a half years and 2 years and I still work with them occasionally when they need me.
The boy used to go to school and the girl used to stay at home with me. I used to take her to playgrounds, swimming and cooking classes, ballet, museums, zoo, library and park. Do activities with her and I did the potty training too. When the boy used to leave school we used to do some activities too all together.
I work with children since I'm 22 years old. I have always loved being around them and the interaction with them.
To me, playing a fundamental role in providing the best education a child can have is one of the most fulfilling occupations anyone can have.
I have the qualifications, and the necessary enthusiasm to work and be efficient in this field.
I have a lot of experience with children such as a nanny, a childcare, babysitter and a teacher. I have worked closely with them for over 18 years.
