Childcare 1:2, Nanny/ babysitter April 2011 - Current
I worked as a full time nanny and mothers help with 4 year old twin boys. I provided the twins with a daily routine and when they were in nursery I carried out daily household duties so that the twins Mother had time to concentrate on her recovery from a hip revision. I ensured that the boys had structure and both had a set bed time and bedtime routine. As one of the twins had a nut allergy I would be cautious when out and at childrens parties. I also recieved epi-pen training in the doctors surgery, which I attended with the twins mother. I helped prepare the boys for their transition into Reception by regually working on Phonics, learning through play and number work. Furthermore I regually attended education and fun outings with them.

Childcare 1:1 Nanny abroad Sept 2012
I cared for a four year old little girl with ADHD and Autism abroad for two weeks who previously was my key child from Rafles day Nursery. During this time I focused on developing her strengths and making small progress on her weaknesses; within the first week she was toilet trained and by the second I had taught her to swim unaided. I have kept regular contact with the little girl and her family and babysit for her on occasion.

Childcare 1:1 Sept 2008 – Sept 2013

I worked closely with parents to check and ensure the best care for their child. Duties included getting the child ready for nursery, bathing and feeding , bringing home from nursery and ensuring the child was fed and ready for bed when his parents returned from work. During this time I was able to engage in a close bond with the child and this helped with his development throughout nursery. I have continued to work with this child and he is now a part of my family. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching his daily acheviements as he continues to flourish in his new school.
