I had to move my little girl from another nursery to Popperellas at very short notice last year. After meeting Lisa I felt instantly very lucky that she had a spot available and was willing to accommodate the hours we needed. Lisa's house is impeccably clean and tidy with lots of space for playing, both indoors and outdoors. My little girl settled incredibly quickly, has developed a very secure bond with Lisa and her family and has flourished at Popperellas. Just speaking with Lisa it is clear she is very passionate about the job and cares deeply about the children she looks after. Lisa is very patient but firm with the children and makes sure their individual needs are met, always happy to make time for lots of cuddles. I couldn't recommend Popperellas enough and regardless of whether you are looking for a nursery or childminders, Popperellas is well worth checking out.

Lisa & Lee have been looking after my daughter since she was 6 months old. I was initially really scared to leave her with someone else as she was so young but Lisa was so kind, flexible and caring that she instantly put me at ease. Nothing is too much trouble and I feel like she has become a friend as well as childminder! My daughter does her happy dance when she realises we are at their house and is always giggling and happy when we pick her up.

After visiting Lisa, I knew instantly that Lisa was the perfect person to look after our son. Nothing is too much and Lisa works perfectly around the hours I needed, with no hesitation. My little boy has settled so well and gets excited every time he gets dropped off, always very reassuring as a parent.
I highly recommend Lisa to anyone, as she is very caring, honest and passionate about what she does!
Can’t wait to see our little boy develop whilst here☺️

After meeting Lisa we knew instantly we wanted her to be our sons childminder!
Her house is immaculate, well organised with so much space for the children to play safely and so homely.
She genuinely cares for our son as recently he was poorly and she kept checking in to see if he was ok!
Our sons face lights up when he sees Lisa every morning and as a parent you want your child to be happy and looked after and we know our son is both these when with Lisa.
I honestly can’t recommend her enough.

I searched and searched for childminder after my son was due to start somewhere and the childminder let me down last minute. Lisa accommodated and fit him in the following week! She is lovely so bubbly and kind and my son absolutely loves going there. I'm so happy I found her, I don't worry about him during the day whilst I'm at work as I know he is having fun! Her house and garden and the whole setting is absolutely lovely! They say things happen for a reason and i am glad i found her. Thank you xx

Our son loved his time with Lisa and her family. He settled so well and gained so much confidence. It felt like he was part of the family and we never had any doubt he was in a loving environment, a home from home! Would definitely recommend.

Lisa has cared for my 2 children and I wouldn't go to anyone else. A high quality service offering all the essentials and more that your child could need when their not in your care. It's clear to see the passion that Lisa has for all the children at popperellas and its shows in her care that childminding isn't just a job. Leaving your children is a hard thing to do but Lisa has made the whole process so easy for me and seeing the genuine excitement on my baby's face when he goes there is lovely and confirms that he also approves 😊. I love that I can track his day via a secure website and see what he has done, ate etc. Overall a fantastic childminder offering such a high standard sservice

After viewing many local nurseries and childminders, I’m so glad we found Lisa. My son settled in straight away and absolutely loves going to Lisa’s house and being in her care for over two years now.
Lisa’s beautiful big clean home is like a mini nursery but home from home, with loads of space for the children to learn, play and develop.
Myself and my little boy both feel he is safe, loved and cared for when his in Lisa’s profession, fun learning, friendly care.
I couldn’t ask for a better person to take care of my precious little boy. Thank you for taking care of my little boy like his your own and always being very approachable, working with me to make my son feel comfortable, happy and having lots of fun while learning and developing so much since being with you :)
My new little baby girl addition will soon be joining her brother and all the fun :)

I have known Lisa for 5 years now. My older son has been with Lisa for over 2 year and now my younger has been with Lisa since 2020. Lisa is fantastic and very professional. My children are vegan and Lisa is very supportive and understanding of their needs. I would recommend Lisa to everyone. She organises a lot of fun activities and children develop their skills rapidly. She gets them ready to attend nursery/ school setting and I would never go anywhere else. 6 stars out of 5!

Each child has different needs and we adapt to suit our families needs.
Deer nursery has been a superb place for my son. Hes come on so much, I can really see a difference. He isnt the most confident and gets overwhelmed easily, but Lisa works with both the parent and child to understand the child. She puts in extra effort to make sure they not only settle but flourish while they are with her. His confidence has grown in abundance since being here. He loves going and Lisa makes him feel so safe and happy. Couldnt ask for anyone better!

My daughter has been attending Deer Daycare for over 2 years and has blossomed immensely. Lisa was brilliant in helping my daughter settle into childcare and was really supportive to me as a first time mum.
Lisa was always available over the phone or at the setting to discuss anything and was really reassuring.
My daughter will continue to attend Deer Daycare as we both could not be happier.

My child started here when he was 1 and loved it. He learnt and played very happily, we were very comfortable and happy with him being here.
However we contracted covid 19 in January. Our child showed no signs of symptoms and we sent him in as per any normal day, by 10:30 he vomited once which didn’t seem to bother him. but as per guidelines, we picked him up and got him tested which means everyone around him needed to be tested. After this we received a text message saying we could no longer come back as they would close to everyone but teachers, drs and nurses.
My husband called to talk this through 5 days later to see when we could return and we were told they maybe closing and they’d be in touch. We haven’t heard from them since, no updates of any kind. We didn’t even recieve a call or text to ask if our child was ok after recovering from covid which was very upsetting and confusing because he’d been in their care for 6 months.
Still deeply saddened we left in this way and I can’t provide detail of why this happened.

During this period we have all had to adhere to government guidelines which change regularly and it has been a very confusing period for us all. Children’s safety & preventing cross contamination is paramount. We do stress to our parents the importance of this and there is an expectation that these guidelines are followed at all times.
As discussed previously, I have sadly had to make unprecedented changes to my business and I thank you for giving 5* for cleanliness as this is so important, especially during a pandemic.
Sadly you feel I lack in communication & have given me 2* It saddens me that you feel this way. However it has recently been brought to my attention that emails have been going into some parents ‘Junk’ files so please do have a look in those. Your child’s transition form etc will be there. Also to remind you that the number you have is for work purposes & used during working hours so if you would like to discuss anything further please do call or email & I will get back to you as soon as able.
I wish you all the very best in finding alternate childcare.
Lisa's childminder/nursery is the perfect set up for me and my daughter, she made me and her feel super comfortable immediately and so far my daughter has completely loved it! After only a week she even decided she wanted to so her business on the potty & has continue with it! Has even a cheeky nap or two there (which She never does at home in the day!) She is always happy going to and from Popperella's, can really see she enjoys it. So glad we did it & grateful to have found this little gem! Thank you Lisa xx

Lisa is an excellent childminder. she looked after my daughter when she was little and has now started looking after my 2 yr old son. both of them love being there and what i love is it is more like a nursery setting as opposed to just a house. lisa also provides you with daily reports and monitors the childrens progress and milestones.
Would definitely recommend Lisa if your looking for a happy, safe and educational environment for your child

I found Popperellas on here in October and always thought word of mouth recomendations were best...but i can honestly say this search find restored my faith in what a childminder should be.
Going back to work full time with an 11mth and 2yo i was struggling to fine my idea of what a perfect childminder would be. Having left a childminder that let standards slip the month before, I was quite nervous and searching for perfection. What you read in Lisa's profile is delivered to the highest of standards with added cherries on top!
Id considered Popperellas not quite a childminder and not quite a nursery it's definatly split 50/50...Lisa and her team provide one-on-one care, supporting your childs needs with individual activities, and follows your rouitine like a childminder should with added cuddles. On the other hand they keep me upto date on progress and targets achived in line with the early years development, as well as sticking to set routines with group activities which aids their self growth and confidence, is more like a nursery setting.
You really do get the best of both worlds. If you like daily reports, a clean and safe environment, and structured days with help/assistance if needed, honest arty paintings, singing happy children that run in in the mornings but dont want to run out in the afternoon...then Popperellas is for you.

When I returned to work after having my little girl I was dreading leaving her but from the second I met Lisa she made us feel at ease, she has made leaving my daughter everyday so much easier! I know my daughter is safe and well looked after and Lisa constantly keeps me up to date through the day on how she is! I would highly recommend Lisa!

Lisa is a fantastic childminder. Who made it easy for my little boy to settle in her home, and giving me piece of mind when leaving him. She provides a a fun and friendless environment where the children learn through play. My son loves his time and always gets excited when going, I know he is being stimulated throughout the day and cared for by someone who truly loves the profession. I would highly recommend Lisa to anyone, with children of all ages and would like to thank her.

Lisa is an excellent Childminder, providing a safe and caring environment for all in her care. She made me and my daughter feel at one and comfortable straight away and I felt much happier going back to work knowing my daughter would be well looked after and encouraged. There is plenty of opportunity to play, have fun and learn and develop while at Lisa's. I would highly recommend!
