About Me
I love being with children and helping them develop through play activities. I particularly enjoy involving children with the outdoors. My passion is music and I enjoy sharing this with the children I work with. I have no end of fun songs to sing and play various instruments including the keyboard and drum kit. I also have a fur baby Cockapoo called Maisie!
My Experience
I have many years experience of working with children aged 0-18. I am a qualified primary teacher; I have many years of experience working with children with severe autism and other special needs. I worked for over 10 years as a manger of a Childcare setting. I have led a team in my church children's ministry and spend a lot of my spare time working with children's projects. I have even travelled to Peru and Tanzania to work with orphaned and street children. I also babysit for my friends and other families via this site.
As well as this, I am trained in Makaton sign language, BSL level 2 and have a Food Hygiene and First Aid certificate. I am a PVG member.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
I have a minimum charge of 3 hours (£42) and a mileage fee if 5 miles outwith Aberdeen city.

Sandra looked after our 1 and 5 year old for several weeks. She was brilliant with both and they very quickly settled with her and looked forward to seeing her. My 5 year old boy actually keeps asking when she is coming back... She would take him on picnic adventures in the park, bring great new toys in that she thought he would enjoy, like a set of play construction bricks and mortar and plan all kinds of fun with him.
Sandra is trustworthy, calm and punctual. She was recommended to me from a friend and I am really pleased to have met her and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to friends as well.
We will surely continue to call Sandra for occasional babysitting going forward!

Sandra has been taking of my 6 year old daughter with special needs for quite some time now and my daughter really loves her in her own way! She knows how to play with her and communicate, my daughter relaxed from the beginning in her care and is happy to see her:) Sandra is trustworthy, kind, punctual and a person I can totally trust with the safety of my child!

Ms. Sandra has been a delight to have watch our 8 month old daughter! Prompt arrival time, great with our daughter, and even gave her medications without any trouble :)
Our daughter enjoyed her company and we felt confident leaving her with Ms. Sandra more than once!
We return to the US next week and wish we had someone like Ms.Sandra back home! I haven’t felt as comfy leaving her with anyone else. She’s been our favorite among sitters back home and among several we tried here in Aberdeen.

Sandra has looked after our two boys aged 4 and 6. She has such a lovely manner that makes them trust her quickly, for example, the 4 year old took her by the hand and asked her to go with him for her to see a new toy. She is honest, trustworthy, has good timekeeping and is just someone who I'm really happy to leave my precious boys with. She's lovely to have around.
