About Me
I have been an Ofsted Registered Childminder for 29 years.
Graded Good at my last inspection. I live in a 3 bedroom house with my 20 year old daughter. I love working with babies and young children, helping them grow, learn and become confident, independent little people in a gentle, caring, fun and stimulating home environment. I have a lovely garden with many lovely resources and toys where children can play whatever the weather!
We regularly visit local play parks, woodlands, nature reserves, soft play, toddler groups and the library. I provide lots of fun and educational activities, such as sensory play, water, sand, baking and crafts. We love to go out for nature walks exploring the local area, looking for wildlife and jumping in puddles! I offer a great range of toys, resources, activities and learning opportunities, we like to have lots of fun!
There are quiet spaces where young children can rest or nap.
I care for babies and children from a few weeks old right up to the end of primary school.
My Experience
I am an OFSTED Registered childminder. I have 29 years experience working as a childminder and before that in a pre-school. I have experience of working with children with additional needs, allergies and food intolerance.
I also have lots of experience of working with very young babies.
My Qualifications
I am qualified to NVQ L3 in Childcare, Learning and Development
Paediatric First Aid-renewed Oct 2022,
Food Hygiene-updated April 2021
Safeguarding children-updated February 2022
Nutrition for children
Makaton Levels 1,2 and 3.
And many, many additional training days/courses covering all sorts of fun and educational learning activities for children!
My Availability
I can offer full time, term-time or holiday only care depending on your requirements, for babies and children under school age. I also provide wrap around care and holiday care for primary school children at East Wichel School. I currently only have a vacancy for a school aged child. I will have spaces for little ones in September 2023

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Available on request. I also provide 2, 3 and 4 yr old funding and can offer the 30 hours childcare, subject to available spaces.
