Fantastic - Highly Recommended

Talia's Teddies have been looking after our two year old son for over a year and the setting they have created has been absolutely perfect for him - we really don't think we could have found anywhere better.

Natalia and Maks have created a wonderful family environment and their love of children and passion for their work come through in everything they do. Our son loves going there, he rushes through their door in the morning and is always happy at the end of the day. The play, music, crafts and activities that Natalia and Maks prepare have helped immensely in his development and we're very happy with their approach to our son's routine, the home prepared food everyday and their communication. We really enjoy reading the daily notes to find out everything about his day!

As first time parents, we have also benefitted a lot from Natalia & Maks' advice, support and experience. They are both very professional, conscientious and care for our son just like he's their own.

Talia's Teddies has been an extension of family for us and we can't recommend it enough.

Wonderful Childminder

Natalia looks after both our children, we’ve known her for nearly 2.5 years. Our eldest son started with her when he was about 9 months old and my younger son joined him about 2 years later. They both have a great time there!
There is nothing more reassuring than a smiling child waving you goodbye at drop-off in the morning and a similarly happy child at pick-up time. We looked at a few different childcare options when we started our search, but we chose Talia’s Teddies as we particularly liked the smaller home-from-home setting.
Talia and Maks are full of positive energy and it’s evident they adore the kids in their care. The day is packed full of fun activities, laughter, home cooked meals and all in a caring environment where good behavior is expected and encouraged. As newbie parents, we were appreciative of the calm and practical advice provided by Talia for sleeping/teething/sickness issues that have occasionally cropped up.
We highly recommend Talia’s Teddies, we feel like they're an extended part of our family; a fantastic setting where children really do thrive.

Excellent childminder

My son was under Natalia's care from when he was 8 months old and since then he has grown into a happy and confident little boy. Natalia has played a big part in his development in that she has given my son guidance in play, sharing, manners and of course her loving care. She provides a fun, relaxed and vibrant atmosphere, enabling children to enjoy themselves, make new friends and feel settled and secure.

She works on her own initiative and encourages children to explore their interests whether its arts and crafts, reading, music or sports. She is also very much aware of the importance of healthy eating and always prepares fresh, balanced meals for children, which was one of our main requirements. I cannot stress enough how I would not hesitate to recommend Natalia as a childminder and have found her to be extremely competent, conscientious and trustworthy. I would have total confidence that she would be able to offer any child in her care at Talia's Teddies everything that is required and more.

Highly recommended

Natalia looked after my daughter whilst childminding a few years ago and has babysat for us many times since. I have always found her to be friendly, reliable, proactive, positive and hugely kind and caring with my children, they adore her. I have no doubt that the lucky children at Talia’s Teddies will thrive in her care.

Fantastic with children

Natalia Baran has worked for us since the summer of 2016 as a nanny and housekeeper. The only reason she will stop working for us at the end of December 2017 is that we are moving abroad - otherwise we would have clung onto her for dear life!

I have no doubt whatsoever that Talia's Teddies will be an exceptional setting for all the children that attend because Natalia is fantastic with children and incredibly loving, fun and hardworking.

In terms of her work for us, Natalia has sole charge of our little boy Edward (now 22 months) three days a week. Her role includes organising and taking him to the park, playgroups, swimming and so on and Natalia is proactive at finding activities for him.

She plans a varied menu for his meals each week and prepares excellent food for him.


Natalia is superb with Edward and he adores her in return. Its lovely to see how excited he is when she arrives in the morning. She is very warm and loving with him and gives him lots of attention and affection, which for me was the most important thing when choosing a nanny.

Natalia is very good about sitting down and playing with him and at the same time teaching him things in a gentle way, which I see as one of the benefits of having a nanny who has experience as a nursey school teacher. She has been instrumental in Edward’s development and we are very grateful to her for that. Not only has she taught him how to play (both independently and with other children), share and manners, she has also taught him lovely little routines such as sitting down on the step to take his shoes on and off and putting on his coat before going out. It is clear that Edward is very happy with her and has a lot of fun. I greatly appreciate that at all times she is providing a warm, nurturing, structured environment for him.

She is also very good at keeping the toys, play areas and other children’s items such as the buggy clean and tidy. She also does housekeeping for us, including emptying/loading the dishwasher, hanging out/putting away washing, and shopping (both for Edward and sometimes for the family), tidying up the kitchen etc. She is excellent at spotting things that need to be done in relation to Edward or around the house generally and doing them without needing to be asked.

Natalia cares deeply about the quality of her work and always wants to ensure that we are happy with everything she does, which I can honestly say we always are. She is extremely hard working – I don’t think she ever sits down – and is a very motivated, energetic individual.

In addition she is always very punctual and tries to be as flexible as possible, for example, coming early or staying late for us, sometimes at short notice, which is very much appreciated. She also does lots of babysitting for us which again is very helpful.

My husband and I feel as if Natalia has become part of our family. She is an absolute pleasure to have around and we feel exceedingly lucky to have her as our nanny. I never worry for a moment about leaving Edward in her care as I know that she is 100% trustworthy and I have absolute confidence in her. I can wholeheartedly and entirely recommend her as a nanny, babysitter and/or housekeeper.
