About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder.
As a child I always wanted to work with children and thought about being a nanny. However, after I finished my education I began work in Insurance. I enjoyed my work and before I left to have my family I was a Team Leader.
As my family grew, I felt my desire to work with little people again. I spent some time being a Pampered Chef consultant which was great fun meeting new people and meant that I stocked my kitchen full of terrific products while spending time with my children.
By the time my fourth child had began preschool, I found myself drawn to my dream of working with children. After considering all the different options, I decided that becoming a childminder suited me and my family.
Since working as a childminder, I feel honoured to work with terrific children and love my work!
I live in Bromham with my family; my children range in age from 21 through to 14 years. My children attend University, work locally and are home educated.
My Experience
I have obviously had first hand experience for over 21 years with my own children. During this time, my children have had playdates/sleepovers with their friends so I am used to having children around and have experienced different personalities prior to childminding.
I ran the local NCT toddler group for several years until my children left to begin their schooling.
When my children were at preschool I helped out on the parent rota which gave me insight as to different learning processes used.
I have been childminding now for coming up twelve years loving every day! I have a variety of children on my books and am used to different quirks!

I have experience of food allergies and food intolerances so am used to different dietary needs. I also have had epipen training.
My Availability
I am now looking to wind-down my business and at this moment I am not looking to take on any new families.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
My standard fees are £4.50 per hour or £45 for a full day of care over 9 hours. For longer hours involving early starts my fees are £50-£100 depending.
Discounts are available for siblings or morning only sessions.
Additional fees are applicable for snacks, membership to playhouses,
FUNDING IS AVAILABLE FOR 2 & 3 YEAR OLDS (due to eligibility)
