'Every day in our setting is different!
We spend most of the sunny days outside, running around, chasing each other on scooters, and baking birthday cakes for lovely friends in our little wooden house. Our childminder lets us find a release in arts and crafts, so that we can become well-known painters one day. There are various counting activities as well to broaden our maths skills. We visit the library every Thursday to borrow educating colourful books, and then we read them with fascination and joy. It is also a great pleasure to take a long walk to our favourite park every week, and collect treasures that nature gives us.'
We welcome EVERYONE. Our children are educated about cultures, lifestyle differences, and respect. It does not matter what background you are from and what language you speak! Happiness is an international language!
My name is Jolanta Dayal and I am a qualified Ofsted registered childminder.
My home is spacious with dedicated rooms for little ones, including a separate toilet, and a large garden with outdoor facilities to play despite the weather conditions. I provide all learning aids, toys and activities to enable children to have fun, while supporting them in their development. I communicate with all the parents to keep them up to date with their child's progress and day to day achievements. Every child’s and parent’s preferences are a priority. My commitment towards you is serious, therefore your precious child will be safe, secure and happy in my place.

I have been using jolanta for over for 3 years, My daughter loves coming to the setting and it's very clean and organised. Jolanta as helped my daughters development from potty training to her speech. When I'm at work I know my daughter is very safe and looked after, I enjoy looking at the photos that are put on of my daughter when I'm at work to see what she is doing throughout the day, jolanta takes the children out to parks, soft play, does craft activities with them and is brilliant with children, I will be using jolanta for many years to come.
My Experience
I have extensive experience in working with children, i.e. I worked as a teacher’s assistant as a placement in Netherfield Primary School, and also as nursery staff in Leicester. I volunteered for ‘Polish coffee mornings’ for Sure Start in Netherfield, Nottingham. I have a number of childcare and teaching assistant qualifications and over 10 years of practical experience (nvq 3 teaching assistant, nvq3 SEN, nvq3 SEBD and at the present time i m studying child psychology).
My Qualifications
I have a NVQ 3 certificate in teaching assistant, NVQ 3 Special Educational Needs in Social Care,SEBD, Child Psychology NVQ 3. At present I am doing a course in Autism, Aspergers and ASD. I have also completed the required courses to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and Safeguarding during COVID -19. I have a Paediatric First Aid certificate, enhanced DBS check and I am fully trained in home based childcare. I am a member of Pacey and hold a clean driving licence with full insurance.
My Availability
We currently have full-time and part-time places available for children aged 0-5. We are open every Monday - Friday from 7-15 am to 5-30pm. I offer to pick-ups/ drop-offs to Burton Joyce school .There are free places for 2 to 4-year-olds, who get 15 or 30 hours childcare funded by the government. If you require weekend or overnight child care, extra hours are negotiable.

I’m so happy with the childcare services provided for my daughter. Every time we pick her up she is smiling, which shows how much she enjoys her time there. Jolanta organizes a variety of activities, keeping my daughter engaged and learning throughout the day. There is constant communication, and I appreciate receiving pictures and updates about her day. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it feel like a second home. I trust Jolanta completely—she is responsible, reliable, and always prioritize my daughter’s well-being. My daughter has been going to Jolanta now for well over a year and I couldn’t be more grateful for what she has done for me and my family!
She made returning back to work easy for me by keeping me updated with pictures throughout the day. She has helped my little one develop with all her motor skills and works closely with me to help develop her speech. My daughter is always so happy; smiling, laughing and playing when she is in Jolanta’s setting whilst I know always learning new things.
I love the fact that In the setting they are always out and about weather that be in the garden, out in nature or play groups knowing my little one is interacting with all the other children is wonderful.
Jolanta is well and truly a wonderful care provider and I am ease every time I drop my daughter off knowing she is in safe hands and will have a fun day

My son attended to Jolanta's place just for a week but was happy to be there. He was excited about all different activities and play time with other kids. I recommend Jolanta as a childcare provider.

Jolanta is simply the best. She has went over and beyond not only when looking after my little girl but also with all support since our first contact. Me and my girl have been through a lot recently and Jolanta has fully opened her heart to us. She has a built a great connection with my girl. My little lady have loved everyday spent with Jolanta.
Jolanta is not just a care provider - she is truly part of the family. Knowing that my girl was in good hands has made my days much easier.
I can’t thank you enough for all you did for us.

My 3 Children have quite a few challenging issues and Jolanta knows how to care for them in such a loving and professional way. She communicates with me through the day sending photos. My children adore her and feel safe and loved. Jolanta provides stimulating activities, takes them outdoors and has a therapy dog. We feel blessed to have her.

Jolanta kept my little boy very busy and he absolutely loved that! He was always happy to go to Jolanta because every day was different and very engaging. Jolanta is very loving and I knew that my little one was in good hands!

I would highly recommend Jolanta, Both my son and my youngest child went to her setting and continued to go after school hours when they reached 5, she does so many activities with the children and I can not speak highly enough of her. Although she has recently re-located to Burton Joyce my children still go to her when I need some help with childcare, the new setting is beautiful. She is very proud of her diversity and inclusion ethos and supports all children from a variety of backgrounds.
It is refreshing to know how she continues to update her training and is constantly refreshing her policies. Her communication with me as a parent was excellent, I was able to see what the children were doing everyday and I loved to see them happy (less Mum guilt for leaving them whilst having to work).
The children loved the variety of activities, they ranged from playgroups, woodland walks, visiting the local fire station and library, she even took them on a train which they loved.

I highly recommend Jolanta
Jolanta has been absolutely amazing for my 2yr old son.
The things she has done with our son to improve his level of learning and everyday life skills has been absolutely amazing.
She has supported by teaching him at 2yr old to put his shoes on and getting his hat on is well.
Hand and eye coordination moving tiny objects from one bowl to another bolw. Sorted items to correct area.
She has supported us though potty training.
She always doing something with our son, Jolanta takes the kids out to soft play, every time difference park, dose a lots of activities with children.
I see my son not bored when he spend time with Jolanta he spend time with fun games and a lots of learning.
Jolanta is very friendly for kids and parents she all times send photo how kids spend time, we have really good contact with her.

Being first time parents we did not know what to expect with childcare.
We loved Jolanta from the very first time we met her.
We researched different childcare options within the area and choose Jolanta because we were impressed by her enthusiasm, hard work, proactiveness, variety of activities organized for the kids.
My daughter has been receiving nothing but excellent care!!
Jolanta’s tireless willingness to develop herself and stay up to date is outstanding.
What can we say: simply the best!!!!!

We couldn't have wished for better childminder for our son. He attended the setting for 3 years and he absolutely lived it. The care Jolanta provides is child centred. You get lots of feedback on a daily basis and the emphasis Jolanta puts on outdoor activities and cultural development is what really mattered to us. Highly recommended!
