About Me
I am an enthusiastic and active childminder who enjoys interacting with all children. Being married and having 2 of my own children, I am fully aware of the challenges that we as working parents have to juggle and manage.
I offer a homely and loving environment for children to enjoy their time whilst they are with me . I provide lots of outside play, from forest walks to garden toys. I have added an undercover play area to allow us to play outside when the weather is inclement. We also enjoy lots of messy play.
I believe it is important for us to work together as a team to support your child in achieving their full potential. So if you are interested then please call and we can have a chat over a cup of tea/coffee.
My Experience
I have been child-minding for over 13 years and had been a working mum for a few years prior to changing careers. So can fully appreciate what it is like to juggle a career and family. Which I still have to do now for my own children and family.
I have looked after new born babies all the way through to 15 year olds and are pleased to say that a number of clients have been with me from the very start and I have had the privilege of looking after additional members of their families when brothers or sisters arrived !
My Qualifications
I am cert EYP qualified - Level 4 in Early Years Practice in Childcare.
I am also Quality Assured and Accredited which allows me to offer the government funding for 2, 3 & 4 yr olds via the Education Learning and Childcare funding grant.
I regularly attend training updates.
My Availability
I provide flexible hours, 48 weeks a year or term-time only there is also the ability for overnight and holiday cover if required.
I operate Monday to Friday with the first drop off accepted from 7.15 am and collection by 6 pm but these are not set in stone.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
I am able to offer the 30 hours government funding for 3 & 4 year olds, 2 year old and under 2 year old government funding (15 hours).
I offer flexible childcare to suit your needs and am registered for overnight care. I provide care for 48 weeks of the year.
Hourly rate is £5.50

Well, where do I start! Thank you for being so amazing Jo and keeping us all sane! Jo is a fantastic, well-organised, caring child-minder, who always has time to listen to the tiniest thoughts and worries about our two children, who she has looked after now from close after birth to six years old. I am always thankful for how flexible and understanding Jo can be to our fluctuating family chaos, working with us to keep life calm with structure and routine for the children.
Jo plans a fantastic mix of fun, educational and energetic activities, with regular outdoor trips and events linked up with other childminders, which has given our children the opportunity to get used to larger groups in a secure and regular environment.
Jo has supported our son with speech and language work, linking up with preschool and the speech therapist, and playing fun games to ensure he has the best start possible for when he starts school in September.
My six year old daughter always asks, “when can I go back to Jojo’s for the day?!” and looks forward to her sneaky visits on inset days with great enthusiasm!
I would definitely re commend Jo as a childminder, as she puts 100% of her love, time and energy into ensuring that the children in her care have the best possible start in the world!

Jo has cared for my son since he was ten months old. He is now nearly 7.He can be a challenging little boy at times pushing every boundary set but the culture of Jo's family and childcare has been such an asset to his life.Jo is very protective and caring of the children she minds whilst encouraging them to be independant and lead active healthy lives whilst still having lots of fun.She has a very consistent and fair approach ensuring children feel safe and secure with her.Thank you Jo for your care and support of my me and my little one and throughout the last 6 years .
