Hi, I'm Nevada, 30 years old & a nanny/babysitter from Hanwell West London.
I have been a nanny since 2015 and have experience both within school and home settings. I have experience with twins, siblings and only children with ages ranging from 3 months - 10 years old.
I am currently working with a lovely, local family, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings and I am looking to fill up my afternoons with any of the following.
1. After school roles (3/3.30-6/7pm)
2. Two full days (8am-6pm) between Monday/Thursday/Friday
I am available from September 9th 2024.
I am calm and easy-going. Babies/children have always been content in my care. I strongly believe in setting boundaries and am consistent with these. I'm a believer in good manners and most importantly, fun! I can get stuck in with everything whether that's dancing and singing or having a kick around in the garden.
I enjoy seeing children get stuck in with things like messy play and adventures to the park. I'm confident being outside with children and would describe myself as an active person. I love building children's confidence and encouraging independence. I have experience dealing with challenging behaviour and believe this is best met with patience, understanding and positive boundaries.
I am confident taking care of multiple children and I am happy to be part of a nanny share if needed.
My Experience
I have worked with/looked after children in school and home settings for a total of 9 years.
I have worked as solely as a nanny/babysitter since 2015. I have experience with babies from 3 months+ and have looked after multiples and twins. I can provide great references from multiple families.
I have lived in West London for over 20 years and know the area very well. I am aware of local playgroups and activities that are available to stimulate and engage babies and toddlers. I am confident working sole charge and am able to follow instruction/routine that is already set. I have always worked well with parent's and believe communication is the key to a positive working relationship. I work best with clear and direct communication.
I have also carried out housekeeping duties In previous roles this has been: ensuring the kitchen and play areas are tidy, changing bed sheets, keeping on top of washing, loading and unloading the dishwasher, collecting/picking up packages and topping up on shopping.
