Maria is a wonderful maternity nurse who provided great support to our family in our early parenting journey from mid-December 2024 to mid-February 2025 in a live-in role. We greatly appreciated her care for our (slightly premature) baby, bringing her extensive experience, calming presence, and patience to our baby's care. Moreover, Maria offered a wealth of tips and assistance with all facets of newborn life, such as breastfeeding, bathing, changing, settling, and addressing issues like reflux and tummy pains. She also actively involved both my husband and me in the process, ensuring that by the time she left, we felt confident and well-prepared to care for our baby on our own.
We highly recommend Maria to anyone seeking a knowledgeable, caring, and experienced maternity nurse.

Maria worked with us as a maternity nurse for a period of approximately 12 weeks. She started with us the day after our son was born, and principally worked five nights per week (but, on occasion, six nights per week), starting at 9pm and finishing at 7.30am the following morning.
Quite simply, we found Maria to be an outstanding maternity nurse. She is clearly very experienced with babies - she just knows everything! - and we found her to be exceptionally reliable, punctual (always arriving early) and diligent. She is extremely conscientious and organised, has a calm and confident manner which immediately inspires confidence, is great at problem solving and her attention to detail is superb. She is also very intelligent, which she couples with oodles of common sense. We found Maria to set very high standards for herself, and she goes above and beyond to achieve them. Above all however, and most importantly, Maria gave our son the most incredible love, care and attention - he was just so happy and content when he was being cared for by her. Maria put him into a fantastic routine, which she did with great skill - and she made it all look so easy!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed having Maria in our home - she always had a smile on her face, and is gentle, kind, warm and caring. We grew very fond of her during our time with us (as did our three year old son, who also developed a lovely relationship with Maria!).
We would throughly recommend Maria as a maternity nurse - we feel incredibly lucky to have had her as our maternity nurse for our baby boy, and she set us up brilliantly for when she departed. If we have any more children, we will definitely be booking her as early as possible to be our maternity nurse!

Maria has been really helpful with us , new parents handling a new born. She helped us with a routine, bathing the kid and showed us how to settle the kid. Overall I would highly recommend Maria as a new born nanny.
