About Me
Hi, My name is Louisa, I am an Ofsted registered childminder living on the borders or Colliers Wood and Wimbledon.
I am a confident 46 year old, who is fun loving, outgoing and loves working with children.
I am a wife to Jason and a mum to 3 fantastic children. 27,23 and a 12 year old.
I enjoy spending time with our family and friends and experiencing new and exciting things to do and places to go, you will often find us at parks having picnics, painting at play groups, jumping in soft play or singing silly songs.
I have all the required up to date qualification including Ofsted grade GOOD ( September 2024), first aid, DBS and more on request.
I like to work closely with all my families/parents so together we can give your child the best care possible, I offer a warm, safe homely environment where your little one can grow, learn, play and be encouraged to become an individual with lots of fun and laughter on the way.

I am an Ofsted registered childcare provider with 25 years of childcare experience with my own children as well as a teaching assistant in a primary schools and in a Montessori nursery.
I have an NVQ in teacher training and always have an up to date paediatric first aid certificate, safeguarding, along with DBS, EYFS training and ICP ready.
I have my own car and a full clean driving licence with suitable car seats for all aged children.

Louisa has been minding my son, who is now 2 and a half, since he was 7 months old! She is absolutely amazing and cares so deeply for all of the children in her care. As a teacher myself, I rest easy knowing that my child spends his days with her; she helps him achieve his development targets, is so knowledgeable and always has fun activities for them to do - autumn walks etc... I count my lucky stars we found her! If I could give ten stars I would :)

Louisa has been amazing to all of our family. Our son has joined in December 2021 and the experience has been excellent! He is a little picky eater but absolutely loves Louisa’s curry! I went back to work and felt completely comfortable knowing Louisa was caring for my son and loved getting all the updates throughout the day!

My daughter started with Louisa full time in January 2021 and has loved every minute. Being a single mum and working full-time. Louisa has been there every step of the way to insure that my daughter's achieves her development goals and getting her ready for school in September 2022.
We are not leaving Louisa just yet has Louisa will be doing the school run helping me out during school holidays.
I am extremely grateful for all Louisa is doing for me and my daughter and I would highly recommend her.

My 1.5yr old absolutely loves going to Louisa. There's a lot of outdoor stuff which we struggle to fit in at home with both her parents having desk jobs. Louisa is thoughtful, caring and extremely accommodating which is great. With my husband and I having jobs involving travels, Louisa has been wonderful with last minute requests and going that extra mile. I would highly recommend Louisa to anyone looking for part time / full time childcare. Once I found her I have never looked for anyone else.

We found Louisa through this app during lockdown and felt at ease from our very first interaction.
Unfortunately we are leaving Louisas as we are relocating out of the area.
Our daughter loved her time with Louisa, it felt like a home from home.
Louisa is incredibly patient, caring and really attentive to each child she is responsible for.
You can see she is passionate about what she does, and incredibly professional.
Most days are spent outdoors, she encourages the children to learn a variety of skills, anything from nature to being kind and showing empathy.
We’re very upset to be leaving Louisa.

Louisa took care of my daughter from 6 months old until she was nearly two and she was absolutely amazing and loving every day. She made sure we felt connected even though we were at work by sending pictures and videos of our little one having fun. Her family took our baby as part of their family too, and she felt like she had two homes. We never had any problems with Louisa in terms of sickness absence as she is completely realiable, somebody any parent can trust. As we are not originally from London, Louisa was pretty much the only person we had to take care of our daughter and she was babysitter for us in several occasions too. That means bathing, feeding and putting our little one to bed in our own home if we couldn’t be there. Even when our baby was poorly she would treat her as her own baby, and ensure she had everything she needed. We now moved abroad and Louisa is the one person I miss from London, I wish I could carry her with us.

Louisa is a fantastic childminder and any family would be lucky to have her take care of their child. Our son has been with her for 18 months now and she has been a great influence in his life. Louisa is caring, fun and friendly with the patience of a saint! She has a real home from home environment making every child feel like part of her family. Louisa has created a great structure and routine to her days which I find the children thrive off. She keeps the children busy and takes them to lots of activities including playgroups, soft play and the park. Louisa really helped my son be ready for preschool nursery guiding him to be independent, confident and mix well with other children of different ages. She also provides home cooked meals and cots for their naps on top of keeping the children entertained and happy each day.

Louisa made us feel very comfortable and more importantly knew exactly what she was doing. Therefore I was not upset when leaving my baby and going back to work at 12 months old. Louisa reassured me and sent me what's app messages to let me know my baby was settling in okay. Louisa also makes sure milestones are met and made sure my baby was learning new things. My baby was also kept busy and taken out and about to play groups etc. Lastly. Louisa took my baby and literally looked after her as she was one of her own. My baby asks for Weeza now and absolutely loves her! We are only leaving Louisa because we are relocating abroad. Otherwise we would stay for sure. I was looking for a vibrant happy person to rub off on my baby. Louisa is that type of person. Positive and happy. I can't thank Louisa enough for being there for us and going over above and beyond with my baby girl and for us when we needed her! True Gem and we will miss her terribly. This is the best childminder ever! You will not be disappointed. I looked around for a few weeks until I found Louisa and I'm very happy I did. Celeste Swart - March 2017.

Lousia looked after our little boy for 3 months. From the first day Louisa put him at ease and he quickly became confident as part of her childcare family. We were impressed with the activities Louisa did with the children, especially their outdoor activities which were fun, educational and age appropriate. Louisa had a firm but fair approach to discipline and took the time to understand our home routines and boundaries so she could incorporate similar ones while in her care. She also helped our toddler drop the dummy at nap time which we are eternally grateful for! Louisa sent daily updates and photos which we really appreciated.

Thank you so much for looking after our little girl so brilliantly for the last 15 months Louisa! She is always excited to come and see you and rushes to your door each morning. You always greet us with a big smile and lots of enthusiasm too!
It is so hard leaving your children and going back to work but you made the transition smooth for us and have been very understanding when I just needed to check to make sure she was doing OK during the day.
I like the fact that you take the children out and do the kinds of things I would do if I was at home, including seasonal and educational activities.
I know you work hard to build a good rapport with all of the children you look after and you tailor your approach to suit each child. This is important as they are all different and have individual needs; I have felt confident that you have allowed our little one to be herself and develop at her own pace.
We are sad that we have to say goodbye this summer due to us moving and I just hope she will be as happy with her next childcare provider as she was with you! All the best for the future.
