My Experience

I have an experience looking after children ages 0-10. I have looked after twin baby girls from they were week old til they're about 2. I have worked with their mommy in the house from 8am til 6pm mainly but stayed longer when needed. I know how to multi-task and prioritize. As the work entails, i had to make sure i try to be 2 steps ahead and learn to anticipate the future needs of the children. From sterilizing bottles and dummies to food preparation and feeding accordingly. Take them to doctor's appointments to playdates or stimulating activities at home. Making sure that the place whether the nursery or the play area is free from hazards and safe to play on. Children who attend school, depending on what kind of help is required or needed : helping them with uniforms, giving them breakfast and take them to school. Or after school pick up, bring them home, help with homework, play with them, dinner and take them to bed til mommy and daddy come home. Basically making the children safe, use of common sense and caring for them well while following the instructions given by the parents. I have recently updated my paediatric first aid training (March 2018). I have nursing background (Registered Nurse, Philippines). I 've been in the Care job industry for 9 years experienced in Dementia and Mental care.
