My name is Sarah, I am 33 years old and living in Sutton-in-Ashfield. I live with my husband, Josh and our 10 year old Daughter.
I am currently a fully OFSTED Registered, Qualified and insured Childminder and I am up to date with all the relevant training and requirements needed. I was rated GOOD by Ofsted at my last inspection December 2023.
I provide a loving and caring environment for your child whilst enhancing learning and development, and providing fun and exciting opportunities for play and growth. I use my living room and dining room for children to play and learn in, as well as a very spacious garden. I have toys and equipment to suit all ages and abilities.
I also live very close to my local Surestart Centre, Library, Community Centre, Church and Parks, which are all beneficial in providing educational and outdoor experiences for children within my care. We take regular trips to the local parks, nature reserves and groups. We also do day to day activities such as visiting the shops, cooking, baking and gardening to help teach children everyday skills and behaviour. I provide home cooked healthy and nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day, all included in the price. I also have a full UK driving license with business insurance, which will be used to take the children to local farm parks, educational trips and local events.

I have 15 years experience working with children within school and nursery settings but have been working from home as a childminder for the last 6 years. I also have a 10 year old Daughter. My last Ofsted inspection I was graded ‘Good’ in December 2023

My Availability
Opening hours are 7.30am-5.30pm 5 days per week. I do school pick ups/drop offs for Priestsic Primary school only.

My son started attending Sarah's setting end of January 2018, I was going back to work 9-5 and needed before and after school childcare for my youngest son. I contacted Sarah and was instantly put at ease, the setting is very much home from home and Sarah loves all the children she has, you can tell. My son absolutely adores going to Sarah's and enjoys having a friend there as well which is great,
I would have no issue recommending Sarah to anyone who wants childcare for their children, my son was in a rough place with changing schools as well and Sarah bent over backwards to help me accommodate him while he settled. Nothing is too much trouble and will always give you plenty of notice of holidays which gives me time to sort alternate childcare or change my hours at work to suit.
