Hello, I'm Sam.
I have a degree in children's health and education, a diploma in social work and a certification in sports nutrition as well as a 16hr Outdoor first aid certificate.
Also, I am currently working towards my camping leader and HML leader awards with Mountain Training.
I have 15 years experience within childcare, 13 of which as a sole charge nanny for children, birth to 13 yr old.
In recent years, as my nanny children have grown up, I have taken on more of a housekeeper role which I really enjoy.
I pride myself on being highly organised, tidy and motivated to help people's lives run smoothly.
Happy to do:
laundry
ironing
food shopping
household organisation
light cleaning
meal prep
children's cooking
Etc.
(Depending on time restraints and your family schedule)
With the children, during the day, I like attend groups, the local library or set up playdates as well as spending time in nature with woodland walks, visiting parks or farms.
But most of all I want their day to be filled with happiness so always ready to adapt or change our day if needs be.
Outside of work you will find me running my own camping, hiking and bushcraft group for women where I encouraged women to step out of their comfort zone and try something new.
I'm very passionate about enjoying nature and adventure and love passing that on to the children in my care.
I own several tents, tarps and other outdoor equipment and love bring these out so we can enjoy the outdoors all year round.
