Hi there, I'm a fully trained Ofsted registered Childminder. I have an up-to-date First Aid certificate, Safeguarding training and have been childminding for 10 years.

My partner, Pete and I, have a 16 and a 14 year old and our home is a happy one with a friendly and welcoming environment. I will treat your children as if they were my own. I decided to become a childminder as I absolutely love looking after children.

We are out and about every day on adventures! Mainly outdoors having an amazing time visiting many different places such as Woods, Parks, Farms, Gardens, Zoo, Museums to name but a few. With a forest school focus combined with EYFS and a variety of different themes. Recent examples include, Fossil Finding, Fruit Picking, Butterfly Catching, Goat Farm, Kite Flying, Zoo, Pond Dipping, Pirate themed Park day, an Ant finding Walk :-)

I recognise the importance and value for the children to form friendships with their peer groups and encourage this wherever possible. We also visit local toddler groups and the library. We love books! I have a secure garden here at home and plenty of resources. I provide art and craft for the children to support the particular themes we are working on. I provide tailor made healthy snacks and pack lunch understanding that some children are particular about their food.

I work within the Early Years Foundation Stage guidelines which are the government guidelines for children's welfare and learning and development.
