About Me
Hi!
My name is Emma and I love my job! I live with my husband, 2 children and have a large breed dog who is very friendly and fab with the children. I live in a 3 bedroomed house with a lovely garden and playrooms. Both inside and outside are available for all children with lots and lots of toys to play with.
I offer a home from home environment with lots of love, care and growth.
I enjoy taking the children out during the week to lots of different places. I have memberships to various different places around the local area. We also like to visit toddler groups, messy play sessions, libraries and the beach to name a few.
I also offer lots of fun activities at home such as messy play, arts and crafts, small world play and learning opportunities.
I am a very bubbly, warm, caring, loving and generous person who can offer lots of love and support to your precious little ones.
My Experience
I have over 15 years of experience with working alongside children which range from schools to nurseries.
I have also had some experience in play schemes for children with SEN or siblings of children with SEN.
I have been childminding for 10 years now and enjoy building the business and watching children grow. I have many good reviews which I can pass onto you so please ask.

BA HONS in Primary Education and Early Years
BTECH National Diploma in Early Years.

My Availability
I am available from 7.30am
until 6.00pm. I offer school drop offs and pick ups from Orchard Lea infant and junior school and local preschools. I can be flexible with hours and days depending on my ratio.

My daughter has been with Emma for 4 months now. Each morning when I drop my daughter off we a greeted with a smile and Emma is always happy and pleased to see us. She has a kind and caring personality and is always welcoming. The setting is a home from home and my daughter loves attending. Emma ensures that home cooked food is provided daily and always makes sure the children are doing exciting things. My daughter has grown immensely since attending and is always excited to go and has lots to tell me about her time there when I pick her up.
Emma is an absolute god send and highly recommended.

Both of my children have been going Emma's for about 4 months now and they both love it. My eldest often comes home and tells me everything she has done after school, from picnic teas to discos. My youngest is only 9 months but has settled in extremely well :) would definitely recommend :)

Both my children have attended Emma’s setting over the past few years. They settled extremely quickly thanks to the lovely, kind nature she had with them both. The reason I love this setting is the range of experiences provided to my two. She regularly took them out to groups, visits to the farm or zoo, park trips and then when they were home I used to hear of all the crafts, baking and sensory play they had undertaken. Highly recommended.

Went and visited setting and everything seemed fine, happy with the 2 weeks resting period for either party to cancel if not right fitting but has email the next day saying she cannot take my daughter as she wasn't the "right fit" yet this is what the 2 weeks is for.
Very unfair on my little girl who was expecting to start also after the visit went well. Highly disappointing and slightly unprofessional we felt was handled in.
