About Me
I have a daughter who is 7 years old, I am a hard working individual who loves working with children of all ages, I have most experience with children aged 0-8 however I am not scared of the challenge of working with school age children.
I have held a clean driving license for 10+ years and am a non smoker.
I have spent time living in Australia workingî as a nanny and a mothers help in a remote outback location and also spent time travelling around the country for 2 years.
I am fun and out going and love nothing more than seeing children having fun and learning through play and outdoor fun. I have a forest school qualification and love nothing more than being outdoors and allowing children to learn through play outdoors. I have a network of nanny friends and love nothing more than getting together and having fun as a group and seeing the children all form lovely friendships and learning together.
My Experience
I started my career within childcare at a very well known nursery in Cobham. It was there that I gained my level 2&3 qualifications along with my paediatric first aid and a number of other surrey county council courses that are relevant to the early years sector. I was fortunate to start as a member of the bank staff team which meant I worked in all 3 of the rooms with ages from 0-4. When I was offered a permanent position I opted to work with the toddlers which was fast paced and so much fun. I worked at the nursery for close to 2 years before taking on a full time nanny position nannying for twin girls and their older brother.
I have since had a variety of roles from practitioner to managerial positions within both daycare and pre school settings.
My Qualifications
I have a CACHE level 3 in early years development.
Paediatric first aid.
Enhanced DBS
Forest school level 2 qualification.
A number of surrey county council early years day courses to extend learning and development.
My Availability
I am seeking 3 days a week, ideally term time however I would be open to conversations about working all year round if there was some flexibility to bring my 7 year old daughter with me. She is a fun, kind and caring little girl who loves nothing more than making new friends.
