About Me
I have been married for 31 years, and we have two grown up daughters. I started my business in 2005 and have been child-minding ever since. We have 1 dog, and I work from home with a Child-Friendly garden, and lots of different play spaces both inside and outside. Pre-COVID we was always out and about on day trips, attending local childminding play groups and the weekly library singing sessions. I am able to offer funded childcare hours.

I honestly haven't got enough good words to describe just how amazing Sadie was to my son. He has Autism Spectrum Disorder and he was pretty much non-verbal when he started attending Sadie's nursery. It took a long time for him to learn to let go of me in the morning and Sadie was there to comfort and distract him until he got used to the situation. She offered him a very good environment where he could choose to either interact or have quiet time away from too much stimulation. As she had to pick up other children from the local nursery and infant school, she provided Alex with an opportunity to get used to the school that he eventually attended and still attends, which made his transition a lot easier than it might have been otherwise. As a full-time working single parent, I can honestly say that I do not know how I would have coped without Sadie. The opportunities she offered Alex, from socializing to visiting cool places around Fenland and Norfolk, would have been impossible for me. So, all in all, absolutely amazing. She has enriched Alex's life and I am profoundly grateful for it.

I was recommended Sadie when my little girl little. From the moment we stepped into the house it was warm and welcoming. All the correct info was provided and all info needed was given. Sadie offered settling in session and it was amazing. She would keep in touch as much as she could and would always go above and beyond to meet the needs of the children in her care. She would take them out and to other groups for the children to enjoy! My little one loved being here. Even now she asks to go back and always asks about everyone.
Sadie was always providing a safe learning environment with several different activities and sensory trays for the children to enjoy! All I can say is that Sadie is amazing and I felt completely confident when leaving my child in her care. Nothing was to much to ask! I couldn’t recommend enough.

Sadie has looked after our son for the last 3 years and he absolutely loves going to her house while my husband and I work. When he was very young we would receive detailed updates every day about his sleeping, eating and nappy changes as well as the activities they had done. Now he is older we receive a detailed weekly update and photos to show what he has been doing that week and what his next steps are. Before Covid Sadie would regularly take the children to meet with other childminding groups, go to the park and to the library. Since she hasn’t been able to take them out as much she has organised all kinds of activities to keep him happy at her home and in the garden. Sadie is incredibly reliable and our son absolutely loves her. We could not recommend her more highly.
