About Me
Hi I am 50 years young with over 30 years experience working with children including, childminding, nursery assistant and teaching assistant in years 1 & 2. I have children of my own so I know how hard it is to juggle work with family life. All meals are home cooked and included in my fees as well as activities inside and outside the home. I like to think I offer a warm and friendly environment for your child to settle in. Please feel free to contact me for more information. I’m based in Cobham.

Liz is incredibly professional and a very good communicator. Our son has loved her throughout and her experience is absolutely clear from day one. She has helped us throughout our son’s development from ca 15m to ca 5 years , offering a warm, loving and fun environment, and balanced well with being fair and respectful. She sets her boundaries well. In helping our boy develop, she has developed his manners, respect and politeness which is wonderful to see. Always accommodating and super helpful to our needs, I really rate this flexibility as we do need it sometimes. Cannot recommend Liz highly enough! Our boy will miss her and the friends he has made in her setting, but we know she has done a great job as he is ready to move on! Thank you so much xxx

My son fell in love with liz and her house instantly( cryed when we left) 🤣 she’s a very kind, caring , warm lady who’s always smiling!
My boy been going to liz for well over a year now and still loves going there even now we are just one morning a week now, he runs in without a look back!
Liz is very easy to talk to and always been flexible for last minute changes, would highly recommend her to everyone ! She is wonderful 🩷

Oh my goodness Iv got tears in my eyes thank you Iv loved looking after him he’s such a character! Such a difference in him now from the start thanks to his nursery too 💙
Liz is really amazing. I was really worried about sending my son to a childminder but I am so glad we found Liz! She’s more like a family member. My son absolutely loves her and I have no idea how we managed without her before! She’s always happy and friendly, always so much for the kids to do. Baking, painting, colouring, water activities in the summers and so much more. She has helped my son with so much over the last couple of years and I will always be grateful. There is never a time my son isn’t happy to go to Lizs house! She’s very accommodating with timings and food etc aswell. We are very happy and will always recommend Liz. She’s great. Thank you for everything.

You’re too kind absolutely love him too!!! Miss seeing his little face everyday always manages to make me laugh been amazing to see the change in him over the last 2 years look forward to seeing him in the holidays 😀
We found Liz in lockdown when our son was just over a year old. We couldn't have found a better support system in Liz. She was all the things we required - flexible, trusting and felt like another mother for my son. He has developed his social skills and confidence while being with Liz and made such incredible connections with the other children Liz looks after. It felt like an easy transition when he started Nursery as Liz knew exactly how to prepare him for the change and I feel he will benefit even more now he is going to school. The family envorinment Liz creates is something special and I know we will miss her when he goes to school.

Awww I’m gonna miss him so much he’s been a huge part in our lives for 3 years. It’s been amazing seeing him develop into such a caring lovely sociable little boy. I’m sure he will love big school 🥰
Liz is a fantastic childminder, I can’t recommend highly enough. She is kind, caring, supportive and creates a wonderful environment for children. She looks after my two year old, and he loves the days he spends with her. She supports his development and also creates a fun, happy environment which has helped him to thrive. She’s always flexible and great at communication with parents, is brilliant at consistently following our son’s routine, and keeps us fully updated on his activities each day. It gives us peace of mind knowing he is so well looked after. I’d highly recommend to anyone!

Liz started out looking after my 2 boys and still looks after my youngest. He absolutely loves going to "school" at Liz's house everyday and has learnt so much while in her care. Liz is so patient, kind and accommodating! We love her and our boys love her! A big thumbs up from the 4 of us! Thank you Liz!

We've moved from Finland To UK and we've been quite helpless and unfamiliar with UK childcare system. We found Liz on this website and contacted her. I am happy to meet and know her.
She is really approachable, kind, flexible and caring My son can still remember her after one year leaving from Cobham. My son's learned English from her and sung songs. He's been quite happy to stay with Liz all those months in Cobham. If I want to say one sentence about Liz I would say she's been like a MOTHER to my child.

What I took away from my initial meeting with Liz was her warmth and that she had a genuine connection for each one of the children in her care, I relaxed as I knew I had found the right person for my boys.
My youngest has been with Liz since he was 9m and the eldest 2.7m. They both adore her and it feels like she has become one of the family.
There are good spaces both inside and outside in the semi-rural setting and I have been very impressed with the varied and fun activities offered. The meals are substantial, healthy and home cooked.
Liz's approach is positive, patient and warm. I have really appreciated how she has made it a collaborative experience. I find her detailed daily written and verbal updates especially invaluable.
She was so flexible with me when my hours changed at work and there was a lot of uncertainty and worked with me to make a new plan for pick ups.
Liz is far far more than a safe pair of hands she is a truly exceptional childcare provider. We couldn't have had a better experience and hope that that boys can continue to come to Liz during the holidays for as long as she will have them!

Liz provides us with great childcare service she is reliable ,flexible and efficient. Our 3 daugthers (5 and 3 years, 10 months) enjoy going to Liz's house. When we arrived from France in January 2017, they had been very happy to share time with someone like Liz. They never said that they didn't want to go even if it's a new person, a new language,... She has been very kind with them, spending a lot of time togethers. She is not stressed.
She pick up our daughters and drop them to school for the morning. After school, she pick up them too.
We are really sad to leave her to return to France. We strongly recommend her.

Lizz is understanding and welcoming.
Has a special care for all the kids she cares for..
My daughter loves her. Best childminder in the world she says. Always involved with Alexis activities and school programs. I'm on my own but I know I can always count on her
