About Me
Hi my name is Ceri Ward and I am an OFSTED registered childminder with many years of experience working with children of all ages and abilities. I live in Hebburn with my husband and we are both enhanced CRB checked.
Being a qualified Early Years Professional I value the importance of the way individual children learn and progress.
Within my setting I provide opportunity for children to access all areas of development ensuring they have fun while doing so, in a safe, clean and stimulating environment. I love to observe how children develop their personalities and self esteem etc through play and understand the importance of building relationships with the children and their parents/carers.
I am also a member of Pacey (Formerly the NCMA) and am also fully insured.
My Experience
I have worked in the past as a Nursery Nurse for five years. Within my training we were given 'experience placements' where I attended 6 months in a Special Educational needs school and 6 months in a Local Authority Educational Nursery. To gain my BTEC in Nursey Nursing Certificate we attended placements with various age children..within Childcare Nurseries in North Tyneside. Then after qualifying I gained the five years experience as mentioned above.
Even though we ourselves don't have any children of our own we both have big families with plenty of Nephews and Nieces and we also have the honour of having Godchildren who are all an important part of our lives.

My Availability
My opening hours are 7.30 am - 6.00 pm but with respect to parents/carers shifts and needs I can be flexible.
I have availability for 1 child under 12 months and any other children both under 8 years or up until the age of 16 years of age.
I also work Saturdays if needed thank you x
