About Me
My name is Tracy Gourley and I am married with 3 grown up children, I also have a dog who is very friendly and loves to be around the children.
I live in Monkseaton in a large family home which is adapted to my childminding business offering a playroom, downstairs toilet, conservatory and large fenced secure garden. I am within close links to a metro and bus route.
I have been a Childminder for the past 18 years and have enjoyed caring for children from the ages of 6 weeks to 13 years. I have very good working relationships with the parents as I feel it is key to their learning and development.
I take great satisfaction and enjoyment from introducing the children to a wide range of new experiences and fun activities as I feel this helps to build and develop the children's self esteem and confidence.
I am passionate about home-based childcare and I am a member of the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY).I also work along side the nursery doing the EYFS with each child.
My Experience
1st I am a mum with 25 years of experience
2nd I have had 32 children in my setting in the 18 years of minding, some from the ages of 6 months old up to 11 years, they leave to go to high school.
My Qualifications
I hold a range of relevant childcare qualifications, some of these are;
* Level 3 - in childcare
* paediatric first aid
* Food hygiene
* Safeguarding
* Health and Safety

My Availability
I work Monday to Friday 7.30 - 6.00
48 weeks of the year but can be flexible

We have had Mrs Tracy Gourley as a chidminder for over seven years and she is exceptional. We first used Tracy for whole days when our first child was just under one year old and my wife returned to work. Tracy also looked after my second child. When my children started going to school she picked the children up from school and had them for a couple of hours. My children adore Tracy, they love the fun activities they complete with her inside and outside, they are highly stimulated by her and always feel really safe with her. They also loved the fantastic food! The children always came home after completing exciting craft activities. We couldn't recommend Tracy highly enough. She is loved by my children and a superb child minder. Tracy is outstanding.
