My name is Funmi, I am Black British and I have 6years experience as a nanny. I'm a very caring and bubbly person who's always up for some fun; however I'm always extremely responsible and reliable with a very strong work ethic and always up for a challenge. I've been told I have the patience of a saint, which with working in child care it's a must!!
I also have experience in house cleaning, which include cleaning after little ones and tidying up the house to keep it in a clean environment.
I do not drink or smoke; I promise I am not boring. I love animals; dogs and cats in particular, (I do not discriminate against other animals)...

My Experience
I have experience caring for newborns to older children.My job is very demanding spending lengthy days with the children, I learn the child's personality, their likes and dislikes, allergies and daily routines. Caring for a child I am very much involved in their development, setting up one on one activity to progress their areas of development. I am also involved in more personal development involving toilet training and helping them to walk, talk and dress themselves. I have experience in helping to prepare child's food and snack throughout the day.
I can help with home-works, Supper, arranging play dates and being a friend to the child or children; which could include playing football, going to the park or just playing dress up.
My Qualifications
Although I do not have a certificate for childcare or health and social care, I believe that the best experience is the actual experience of looking after little ones and what the parent has to say about me instead of a piece of paper. I love what I do and it is an utmost joy to see the little one grow up right in front of me, which is the most rewarding of the job.
I do not drive unfortunately but I enjoy walking.
