Absolutely disgusted

If your thinking of sending your child to marcias child minding, that doesnt like being left with strangers after 1.5 hours then dont bother.
Marcia had lilah in for one settling in session that went reasonably well and then she had 6 different days after that where she was supposed to go in and marcia cancelled at 8am every morning a couple hours before she was due to start. After the 6th time I didn't message this time saying "its okay no worries" like i had the other 5 times, I said that I understand that people have sick days but I different day... its getting to the point where its not fair on my daughter being told shes got school in morning then not going.
After that message she proceeds to reply basically blaming lilah because she needed more of there time. And then proceeds to ignore me for 2 days after until eventually saying that she thinks she needs a smaller setting. Although before my complaint that was very polite and understanding she had set another day up for my daughter to go in.
So it is nothing to do with needing a smaller setting but everything to do with her not being able to handle a polite complaint about your daughters nursery day being cancelled 6 times.
Better of this way anyway after finding out that one of her members of staff swear infront of the young children.
Absolutely wouldnt recommend all looks like sunshine and rainbows on there Facebook page but it definitely is not.
There constantly understaffed and not professional what so ever

100% wouldn't want my child to go anywhere else.

My daughter has been attending Marcia's setting since she was tiny, and absolutely adores Marcia and going there, Marcia has always been flexible with my childcare needs. My daughter always comes home excited and desperate to tell me what fun things she has been up to during the day. They go out often which I love hearing about, my daughter especially loves going world of country life. Since my daughter has been going to Marcia's she has come on in leaps and bounds and is able to independantly do many things. Marcia has a written record of what my daughter has been doing whilst in her care, this includes pictures she has drawn etc and I have enjoyed looking through this each time I have asked to see it. It is really important to me that my child has a healthy meal at lunch time and Marcia has always made sure that the food she offers the children is full of fruit and veg. Recently Marcia has added a cabin for the children to use as a playroom, and this is full of fun toys and activities for the children to do, my older children previously went to another childminder in my home town and I felt that they although their needs were met, they were there to secure an income more than anything, however with Marcia it is so clear that she loves having the children in her care, when she tells me what my daughter has acheived in the day she looks genuinely proud of her as well as I am. I would recommend Marcia's setting to anyone looking for a lovely caring childminder for their children.
