Hello my name is Sandra Douglass I live in Blyth i am a home childcarer / nanny with 35 + years experience in childcare.
In my spare time I like to walk my dog along the beach and countryside.I enjoy watching tv and listening to music.
My Experience
I have 35 +years experience in childcare after having my own children I became a registered childminder I did this for 5 years I also cared for children for Northumberland Childrens Services offering respite care to children who's families were in crisis for various reasons.
I then went to Ashington Family Centre as a part time playworker for 3 years until the centre closed.
After attending and completing a crèche course at Barnardos they offered me a job as a sessional crèche worker I enjoyed this job very much but the centre closed in 2005 for 1 year so they could build the new Sure Start Centre I returned in 2006 in 2009 I started my NVQ level 3 and after completing in 2010 I moved into the nursery as sessional nursery nurse I left in 2012.
In 2014 I started my own business SMILES ALL ROUND MOBILE CHILDCARE as a nanny /babysitter in the childs home.i hold full insurance .
I also worked at a youth club for young people with additional needs on a Monday night at The Buffalo Community Centre in Blyth I also run creches there if childcare is needed
during one of the many courses they run.left there February 2019.
I update my qualifications all the time.
iv had several long term nanny families and can provide references.

Sandra is an excellent nanny.Ocasionaly, she has looked after my 5years old daughter and once a week after my 17month old son. My son loves her and is always happy when I pick him uo after being in Sandra's care. I wish I had a job with ore hours to be able to hire Sandra full time. She has loads of experience in working with kids, she is caring and understanding of their needs.
I would definetly recomended to a friend.
