About Me
Hello families! :) My name is A and I am a former nursery nurse and private nanny. I am currently a fully qualified registered midwife working for the NHS and I absolutely love my job! :) As much as I adore my profession, personal circumstances have led me to take a temporary career break in order to help care for a relative. Therefore, in the meantime, I am available for babysitting jobs and/or potential short term positions during this period. It would be an absolute pleasure to meet your lovely family! :)
My Experience
Prior to becoming a registered midwife, I had over 15 years experience working with children in both nursery settings as well as an OFSTED registered private nanny. I have experience with children of all ages, as well as children with special needs. I have a current and valid CRB check as well as diplomas to verify my qualifications. As part of my role as a midwife, I am fully trained in both neonatal and adult life support which are lovely bonus skills to have! :)
As a childcarer, my duties included day to day care such as:
- Cooking healthy meals
- Attending playgroups
- Devising age appropriate and stimulating activities for playtime
- School drop offs and pick ups
- Homework help
- Toilet training
- Arranging play dates and fun outings
- Help with weaning
- Assisting with bath and bedtimes and many more :)
My Qualifications
- CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education
- BSc (Hons) in Midwifery
My Availability
Currently, I am interested in solely babysitting roles but I am open to potential short term nannying opportunities. My availability can vary, however I can be flexible for the right role :)
