About Me
Hi there
My name is Millie and I am a very experienced and qualified childcare worker. I am very caring, warm and enthusiastic and love getting mucky with the children, learning and being outdoors. Millie’s childcare is opening in September 2024. A home from home childminding setting based in langport Somerset. Encouraging lots of learning through play, creativity, exploring and of course fun in my conservatory set up. I have an enclosed garden with a spacious play area full of fun creative play. learning with water, construction play, home corner and activity section, learning through physical play. There is a lovely book shop opposite, where the children can sit and enjoy a story in a cosy setting. I have two boys of my own and a loving patient dog who all love getting involved. I have a great deal of experience caring and working with children, babies and their development. I have 14 years experience working in childcare. I am NVQ level 3 qualified and level 3 in health and social care which I studied for 4 years. Along with lots of ongoing training such as safeguarding over the past 10 years. I also work alongside the EYFS with children’s development stages and learning. Safeguarding first aid and FGM trained. Dog walks, trips exploring the outdoors, baking, dancing are a definite. I’m easy going, and love keeping active with the little ones :) whilst watching them grow and learn through play. I am open from September on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday all day.
