Hi there,
My name is Katie and I'm a nanny/ babysitter based in Hackney. I would love to work as a part time childminder for a family based in London. I absolutely adore looking after kids and have had lots of experience with a variation of ages over the last couple of years. I have had nannying, babysitting, and primary school teaching experience and have references available for those interested.
Although I haven't worked as a full time nanny for a few years as I've been running my own jewellery business, I always work part-time childcare jobs and am very confident in my abilities with children of all ages!
I absolutely adore children and have done for as long as I can remember. I really enjoy helping people, and am motivated and organised. As well as being reliable and responsible, I am also very creative and love the outdoors. I have a good eye for detail, organised, engaging, fun, patient, I'm able to set clear boundaries and be consistent, to be firm but fair, able to help and support with homework, and being good fun and energetic!
A healthy and balanced life is important to me when I'm looking after children, so I hope to give the children I look after a great balance of creative fun and running about as well as a good routine!
My Experience
Part time childcare work for an agency (2021-Present)
After school Nanny (2019-2021)
I have been looking after two girls in Chiswick for the last two years (now 6, and 4) which has been wonderful and I've formed a wonderful bond with them, but sadly I'm moving to East London.
Nanny/ Babysitter (January-May 2017)
Looking after two boys aged 8 and 13 in Fulham. I helped them with pick ups from school, taking them to their football clubs, fun and cultural day trips on the weekends around the city, cooking, managing their homework and bedtimes. Reference available on request.
Nanny (February-November 2016)
I nannied for two gorgeous boys in Clapham aged 2, and 6 months old. My responsibilities included taking them to play dates, pick up from nursery, cooking for them, taking them to the park, bottle feeding, nappies, managing nap times, and bath and bedtime. I would help also help with occasional housework and make sure I was on top of the house staying clean. They loved imagination play, drawing and ball games amongst many other fun activities!

Nanny (August-December 2015)
I nannied two sweet little girls aged 2 and 5 in Christs Hospital. My responsibilities included helping them with homework, cooking for them, bath and bedtime and occasional housework.
Babysitting (2011-2014)
I have been a part time babysitter for the Jefferson family for the past three years. They live in London and have two gorgeous little boys who I am very close to.
Live in Nanny (May-November 2011)
I worked as a a live-in-nanny in South London for 6 months just after finishing school, helping a single working mother with her two girls; one aged five and one aged fourteen. I helped with cooking, homework, taking the younger to her dance classes, getting her ready for school and picked up, bath time, park play dates and cleaning.
