My Experience

I have been registered with Ofsted since August 2012, and cared for a friend's child for 12 months casually prior to this.

My main aim is to care for your child as i would one of my own. I will be the 'next best' in line after you, providing your child with safety and stability within a warm, caring and friendly environment. I want all the children in my care to be as relaxed as possible and to feel as though, my home is their second home.

I am a mum, and had only my own personal experiences to speak of prior to becoming a professional childcarer (I gain more and more knowledge and experience as each year passes me by!!). Since deciding to take the plunge and have a go, I am lucky enough to say that i am still thoroughly enjoying every minute of my childminding experience.

I am not from a nursery background, however, years ago - I did spend most of my school holidays gaining work experience at a local nursery owned by my parent's friends. I have always wanted to work with children, it's just been a long time coming.

I hold a Level 3 Dipoloma in Children and Young People's Workforce (Early Learning and Childcare) and obviously stay on top of all statutory, recommended and worthwhile training. Whilst my portfolio expands I am certain that the training and certificates will only help to enhance my future professionalism and personal development, however my intention will always be to keep my feet firmly on the ground and my priority being ensuring children with me are settled, feel secure and always happy.

As I said previously, I have enjoyed every minute of childminding so far and know that i wish to continue in my venture for a long-time.

My Availability

I have limited places available at the moment, however please contact me to discuss any queries you may have, I will always try to help.

My Fees

• Childminding from £6.00 per hour

My daily rate of pay between the hours of 7.30 am and 5.30 pm is £50.00
Outside of these hours, my charges are £6.00 for every 15 minutes.
I do offer the Government Offered Funded Childcare Provision.

I can drop and collect children attending Springcroft Primary School
Before school, £6.50 = after school £4.50 per hour.
