Hi
Iam an Ofsted Registered Childminder and have been since 2011. For all inspections I have been graded a “good” which Iam very pleased with.
Iam calm,caring and loving person who loves to help.
Me and my partner have been very lucky to have been blessed with 4 beautiful children 3 girls and a boy, All who are now at school.
We are a very close fun loving family who enjoy being out come rain or shine and just being able to spend time together.
I love my job and find it very rewarding.Childminding has worked very well for me and my family we have all made strong friendships through my work and some have become part of our forever extending family.
I love watching children grow and achieve in many different ways working alongside a family that has the same morals and ideas as me is the key to success so we are all teaching the same way which gives the child/ren clear boundaries and Comfort when home and with me also.
Iam a home from home setting.
Iam a strong beliver in children learn best through play so i offer many different toys and activities.ie crafts, cooking,gloop for children to explore.
We have child initiated play or adult led play.This allow children to acheive at there own pace while enjoying there time here and learning daily tasks which help within everyday life.
We also attend a few different playgroups in a week and visit many different places ie trips zoo, farm ,playadventures,ashridge .
we are outside daily.
In my home we use all of the downstairs which consists of 4 rooms.
We have dinning room for arts crafts table top activities and toy kitchen,tool bench, pushchairs for younger ages.
We use the Living room for a more comfortable play with a variety of toys we can bring in from units.
We use the kitchen for cooking.
My bathroom is also downstairs which is great for children who are toilet training.
My garden is a lovly size and we play out as much as possible. So we have a fair balance of indoor and outdoor play. We also have parks fields local for when we would like to go a bit further.
My Experience
I always cared for younger siblings while growing
up.
I have 4 children of my own.
I studied 2yrs in college.
I also worked in placements while studying.
I Then became Ofsted registered childminder in 2011 I have run a very successful business ever since and have cared for many families ages ranging from 0 - 16 years.
My Qualifications
My qualification are 2 year in college.
A level 3 in home based care.
Peadiatric First Aid trained
Safeguarding
Basic food hygiene course.
