I'm 21 with a 1 year old!
I would like to think of myself as fairly confident, experienced, hardworking, reliable, honest, creative and organised. I have a clean driving licence, computer/technology literate & a good communicator.
I've had a lot of experience with children of all ages and find my job very rewarding. Every family is different - I believe that to be the best nanny or babysitter it is vital that I get to know each family and children, in order to know their personal routines & boundaries, and then follow these through with the children consistently.
I went back to work for one family when my son was just 3 months old and it seems to work for everyone (me, a baby, 3 children & a dog!). I'm looking to find another family who wouldn't mind me bringing my son along with me.
My Experience
Nanny, Petworth Jan 2011 - Present
Part-time nanny to family of 3 children, now aged 13, 10 & 8 years old (initially aged 7, 4 & 2 years). Responsibilities include looking after within the home, initiating and planning games and activities, taking to and from school, taking to after-school and weekend activities, help with and supervising homework, children’s laundry, cooking dinner & walking the family dog.
Nanny, Midhurst Oct 2014 - August 2015
One day a week childcare for a 3 year old boy. Main role is to actively engage him in developmental activities, such as baking cupcakes, going for walks, trips to the library, music making and craft.
Play Leader, Kids Club, Petworth Summers 2013, 2014 & 2015
A volunteer Play Leader at this busy annual Summer Holiday Play Scheme for children aged 4-11. Activities involve craft, music, drama, team games, storytelling and small group work.
