About Me
My name is Laura Spinoni, and I am an OFSTED registered childminder located in Freemantle, Southampton.
I have a child of my own who is 10 years old.
I am Italian and fluently speak Italian and English, i have an understanding of Spanish. I live with my partner, he is DBS checked, he is from Slovakia, and speaks fluent Slovakian, Hungarian, Check and have a good understanding of Polish, and Russian language.
As a childminder I will provide your child a safe, warm and welcoming home-environment.
Through a wide range of activities children will be encouraged to express themselves in a positive manner and challenged to maximize their potential. Due to excellent location, we can enjoy library visits,parks, animal farm trips, and much more.
My Experience
I have been a childminder for almost 10 years now, i have worked with children for a number of years volunteering and in paid work in nurseries and children play centres.
My Qualifications
I am in my last year of a degree in childhood and youth.
I hold in compliance with Ofsted
Childminding pre-registration Course
Paediatric first aid
First aid at work
Other training:
Food hygiene
Food Allergy training provided from the Food Standard Agency
Certificate on Schemas accredited from Pacey
I did an online course on Cued Articulation to help children with the comprehension of Phonics and their complexity within the English language.
I also attended training on ECAT (Every Child is a Talker) again to facilitate Language development in children whatever their first language is

Mondays 7am to 7pm
Tuesdays 7am to 7pm
Wednesdays 7am to 7pm
Thursday 7am to 7pm
Fridays 7am to 7pm

I can do school drop off and pick ups from Springhill School only.
I provide care all year round.

My beloved son was 8 month when we started going to Laura & Dezider every day from Monday till Friday.
I was very scared and worried about him ( I think mum are like that ), but fortunately he settled really quickly- he got plenty of cuddles and kisses.
Laura its really caring, warm and friendly person, my son really enjoy his time with her and other children.
My little one never cry when I left him in Laura's and Dezider home.
I would recommend Laura

Me and my son have visited 5 different Childminders when we were searching where he will go. But when we came to Laura’s and Dazider’s house my son started exploring it after 6 minutes. It was warm and welcoming, with a lot of toys, my little one felt like at HOME. That meant a world to me, he felt secure there after being so short time. Now he is going to Laura for more than a year and couple of months and I feel happy knowing that my son is in best, loving and secure hands when I go to work.
Laura and Dezider are very welcoming, caring, adjusting to every child needs. They are very helpful, understanding and offer support to me as a single parent. They a have a clear schedule for day activities and every parent is given a menu what they offer.
After some time, we became family friends and they and their son see my little man as nephew and cousin. In my opinion they deserve a medal for doing so much!
If any new parents are coming up to the time when they have to leave their child in nursery or with a childminder, you will ‘just know’ if it’s the right one. And as much as your heart is aching that you have had to hand them over, there’s no doubt that they will be having a whale of a time. It makes Hometime, all the more special.
