My Summary
About Me
I am an Ofsted registered, fully qualified childminder, with a GOOD in all areas from our ofsted evaluation. My name is Denise and I run Neezys Childcare, I am a divorced mother of two, Jack who is 29, all grown up and works in web development and Ella, who is 15 going on 25 and soon to run the world! Ella has attends St Simon Stock. Both my children are adorable and of course my pride and joy. I also have two small dog called Spartacus and Missy who love, rounding up the strays of the area with their friendly demeanour and handsome faces.( they aren’t in the areas with children ) In 2016 Ella and I moved to our currentI house in Barming which we love, and it has allowed me to pursue a lifelong dream. I worked at a local dentist which I enjoyed for the past 14 years but, I have wanted for some years to set up my own childminding business. As a working mother I've found out first-hand how hard it is to work and balance childcare, so much so that I decided at long last to take the plunge and follow what my heart has truly always wanted to do, work with children, and I love it! I love my family, friends and animals, I am told I have a very good sense of humour, let’s hope the little ones agree! My setting consists of a large two bed-roomed home with a secure enclosed garden. I believe there is a real benefit from outdoor learning where the children can both grow in confidence and enjoy the experiences that the outside world brings. As such I have a very brightly coloured garden, with a mud- kitchen, chalkboards for the budding picasso's, sand water play and a play house and many outdoor games. There is also a section for growing and planting for the children. I have a large living room fully equipped for all 7 areas of learning and for all ages.
I also have a wonderful assistant called Claire. Claire as well as being a Mum to her lovely little boy Freddie who will be 5 in September has had many years experience and carries an advanced level 3 in childcare. She has spent her time since the age of 14 working with children, through babysitting as a teenager, to doing her apprenticeship in childcare at college in Erith and at three local primary schools to that area. At 18 she moved to Maidstone and spent 6 years as a nursery assistant at a local nursery before becoming the room leader she has been on maternity leave with Freddie and I have been lucky enough to have her join me at Neezys!
Both Claire and I have a real affinity and love of children. Our hope is to ensure your little ones flourish in their time with us, succeeding in reaching their full potential in a safe, happy, fun, caring, home from home environment. Thank you for reading and please don’t hesitate to contact if you have any further questions or queries. Also from September we will be offering before and after school to Westborough school in Barming.
My Experience
As a mother of almost 30 years I have a vast range of experience. Jack my eldest was a special needs child, he had a severe speech and language comprehension disorder, I fought very hard to get him statemented for preschool of which I am very proud as the early intervention and help he received throughout his schooling has ensured he has grown up to be a successful, kind and articulate man, in fact you would never know there had ever been an issue if you met him. This gave me insight into the complexity of speech therapy and resolving the issues. I often look after my friends and others children ( the joy of sleepovers! Haha) I currently mind children from 11mths to 11 years old, but am available for all ages from birth. I am also registered with the Kent County Council childcare work force as fostering support worker.
My Qualifications
I am an Ofsted registered childminder, I am also a member of Pacey. I hold an Ofsted enhanced DBS certificate. I also hold a full paediatric first aid certificate and a paediatric anaphylaxis training certificate . I hold all the required childcare qualifications, including but not limited to safeguarding, developing children’s learning, understanding and working with the eyfs system, nutrition stages 1and 2, and food hygiene data protection and the prevent duty, working with children who have special educational needs/ disability.

"Neezys" helped me out when I needed childcare at short notice for my two boys. She was extremely flexible, unphased by the lack of time for settling in sessions, and very accommodating to our needs. My boys loved going there. My two year old especially loved all the singing they did, country walks, arts and crafts and company of the other children in their setting. Denise and her assistants were always extremely friendly, and I was confident that my children were being cared for well, and were happy, which is all I ever want. Thank you!
My two toddlers have been attending Neezy's since the beginning of September.. This was the third childcare setting they had attended in just over 18 months. Both previous settings were not ideal, children not happy and I was eager to find somewhere to settle the children where I would feel comfortable that they are happy and thriving and that their needs were being met as fully as any parent would wish when trusting someone to care for their children whilst going off to work.
Neezy has a wonderful setting, perfectly adapted for the children. It is vibrant and colourful, Neezy has spent a lot of time and effort making her home perfect for caring for the children.
Not to forget to mention Neezy works hand in hand with her assistant Clare. Both of which I can honestly say are great with the children, my children are developing as they should be, they are going on outings and are being engaged fully throughout the day with activities and learning. Neezy and Clare have the patience of saints especially with my oldest (who at times can be a handful) but through open and honest conversations and persistency with both Denise and Clare we are working together to make life easier for all.
I never worry about leaving the children in the care of Neezy's they are happy, they never cry when being left, Neezy and Clare shower the kids with affection and love. Meals are provided at the setting, mostly home made and delicious all of which is included in the hourly rate.
I am very happy that I made the choice to move the children to Neezys. For anyone considering a childcare setting and provider Neezys is the place to consider. Cannot fault anything about Denise and Clare they are fantastic!
