My name is Stacey White, I am married to Simon who is a full time Chef. We have 3 children, one girl and two boys.
We also have one cat named Patty-Cat, a cockapoo named Ralph and a sausage dog named Stanley who both absolutely adore children. We also have a new addition to our setting, Tucker the baby tortoise!
I am South African and I have been living in the UK for over 20 years now. I speak English, Afrikaans and a very small bit of Xhosa.
I have been registered since 2010 and I have become a childminder through choice as I was looking for a more rewarding career.
Children are my passion and I am driven by watching them learn and grow whilst in my care.
I will provide a stimulating and child driven environment for each child in my care. Daily diaries and activities will be implemented in line with EYFS.
I will also provide all lunch, snacks and drinks and these will be freshly prepared on the premises daily.
I can do school pick ups from Sandcross Primary and local nurseries, please contact me to discuss.
We live very close to Reigate Priory Park and we spend many hours exploring and playing there.
We also attend rhyme time and our local play groups like Messy Play, YMCA soft play, Tiny Tunes, Toddlers and Poppets where the children have the opportunity to mix with others.
My Experience
My main experience that is going to be of the greatest benefit to me in this career is that I am a Mother. I have also worked in the hospitality industry for over 12 years and I will draw many people skills as well as organisational skill from this.
Through Surrey County Council I am lucky enough to have the ongoing support and up to date information associated with childminding.
My Qualifications
I have completed my ChIPS course which covered The Early Years Foundation Stage, which outlines setting the standards for learning, development and care for children from birth to five years of age, the course also includes Safeguarding Children and a St John's Ambulance Paediatrics and Young Children First Aid course.
I am a registered Ofsted Childminder with a Enhanced CRB disclosure Police check and hold Public Liability Insurance.
I received a GOOD on my last inspection with some areas being OUTSTANDING.
Other Qualifications include:
NVQ level three qualifications in Hospitality Supervision
Matriculation (South African) with an exemption pass rate (overall B aggregate) - Equivalent to A Levels.

Stacey has looked after all 3 of our boys. She has been absolutely amazing and it’s been so lovely not to have to worry about anything at all. I know and trust my children are in the best care possible. She gives the children so much love and creates such a happy, stimulating environment allowing little personalities to grow! She offers great advise and will always go above and beyond to help with any questions you have at all. She is patient, highly organised, fun and has so many wonderful ideas to keep little minds entertained. Especially with cooking and doing creative and fun tasks! My boys often return with delicious cupcakes/cookies etc and gorgeous paintings. The playgroups she goes to are perfect and the children always enjoy such lovely walks/park visits making the most of being outdoors whenever possible. Both my boys enjoy football and I would always be updated with photos of the boys playing football outside. Her communication is brilliant, she always gets back to me straight away and helps out whenever she can. Honestly, she has been absolutely fantastic for us as a family and such a support. I can’t recommend her enough

Stacey has been our childminder for a good few years now and I’ll be frank, she rocks!
Stacey has a heart of gold, which, from our perspective, was always the most important part of finding a childminder for our 2 kids.
She is kind, has more patience than anyone I’ve ever known, and loves all the children she looks after as if they were her own.
She goes out of her way to make sure the children she looks after feel at home, safe and part of the family. Ask my kids any time who they’d rather live with and the answer would undoubtedly be… Stace!
Stacey is a gem and if she has availability and you’re looking for someone to trust with your kids, she is without question the first person I would recommend.

Stacey has been our childminder since we moved to the area in 2018. Both our children have always enjoyed their time with Stacey. We have used Stacey in the mornings before school and also for school pick ups as we both work full time. I'm a teacher at Reigate School and my children have both attended Sandcross. The eldest is now at secondary and the youngest will be moving into Year 7 at the end of this academic year. The warm and kind greeting the children receive from Stacey and her family was essential for us. We had moved to the area and the children were beginning a new school and it was crucial for them to feel a part of the community. Stacey offered that security and familiarity from the first day. She is a conscientious and caring person, that both our children felt safe with immediately. The home environment was perfect for them to make new friends and play after school. There were always healthy snacks for them and things to do. They particularly loved when Ralph was brought into the family. Our daughter always loves having cuddles with him. Stacey is an excellent communicator with high standards and high expectations. I can wholeheartedly recommend her as an outstanding childminder.

Stacey is amazing and extremely welcoming. Herself and her family truly make you feel like part of their family and home and not just another child added to the mix. My children love going to Stacey and enjoy learning new things and being looked after. My youngest is very shy but Stacey has worked with her to build on her confidence and let her have her ‘safe place’ if she becomes overwhelmed. Stacey really goes out of her way to make sure every single child is catered to and looked after. I honestly couldn’t recommend her enough.

After moving to the area recently and our son joining the local school where Stacey’s children attend too we by chance came across Stacey who now provides after school care 3 days a week for my son. She’s always so lovely and our son prefers to stay there then come home. Stacey has also helped me settle and get to know the school a bit better. Really happy we have Stacey in our lives. Cannot fault a thing.

We have used Stacey with both our children. She is kind and loving and able to provide a calm inclusive setting where my children were able to learn, play and progress, both socially and educationally.
I cannot recommend Stacey enough, so accommodating to our needs and so supportive to both our children and us as new parents!
