Gem of a childminder!

Dawn has been an incredible childminder for both of my children—one attends full-time, while the other goes after school and during holidays. My youngest has truly thrived in her care, showing remarkable growth and development. Dawn's nurturing approach, combined with her flexibility and unwavering support, has made a world of difference for our family. I'm beyond grateful to have found such a gem of a childminder and couldn't be happier with the care she provides!

Exactly what we were looking for and more!

Dawn is a fantastic childminder who provides exactly the care you want for your child. Our little one started when she was around 7 months old. Dawn has been so supportive in her development and provides the appropriate care needed and we can definitely see this. Dawn has a wealth of experience and has even helped us with being first time parents. Care that goes beyond the child and supports the parents is way more than we thought we would be getting!

Aside from this, we also have Jimmy! Jimmy also works with Dawn to provide childcare for all the children under their care. Jimmy is great and adds to the playful side immensely. I’ve not seen or heard of a setup like this before and ultimately, it adds to my comfort knowing there are 2 adults looking after our little one.

Dawn and Jimmy have a lovely and secure house setup with their own private garden which is configured so it a safe and playful environment outside.

Overall, you really can’t ask for anything better!

Fantastic childminder

Dawn and Jimmy are absolutely fantastic with my 2 year old. She loves going to the childminders, they always ensure to do varied activities with her and plenty of walks outdoors. My daughter has really thrives in the friendly and welcoming environment and I am so glad we found Dawn. Would recommend to anyone looking for a childminder

Excellent childcare - Our daughters home from home

As soon as I met Dawn and Jimmy I knew it would be the perfect setting for our 6 month old daughter, it is such a big decision to make choosing the right provider when they are so little!

Almost 2 years later we are always greeted with a warm welcome at pick up and drop offs. You can see how happy, clean and well mannered all of the children that they care for are, and I trust them completely.

They are very accommodating and have helped us out on a number of occasions when we have had last minute appointments / work events on, they are also great with our 6 year old.

You can see how much the children adore everyone in the household, my daughter always runs to the door at drop off and always has a smile on her face at pick up. You can always hear lots of laughter and fun at the door.

Highly recommended this lovely setting, feel very lucky to have found them, we will be forever grateful.

Absolutely wonderful Childminders !! 5Star *****

Dawn and Jimmy are just wonderful! I never thought I would find a suitable childcare for my boy that would make me feel so confident that is in wonderful care but I did! And it’s Dawn and Jimmy. My 22 month old boy is just so happy when he is in their care that he can’t wait to walk out of the door every morning. My husband and I just can’t put into words how much we trust and like them! I work full time and so does my partner and knowing he is in such great hands is absolutely fantastic ! I couldn’t thank you guys enough! You are our angels xx

Great childminders

My son loves going to Dawn and Jimmy's! Lockdown occurred not long after we got him settled, this meant a number of weeks out before we had to get him re-settled for the second time (parents nightmare!) and they were both so helpful throughout the whole process. They are so accommodating to any issues or queries I have, and my son now looks forward to going each day. He comes home with a big smile on his face and knowing he has lots of children to interact with each day is lovely. After seeing a number of childminders we let my older daughter decide who she would be happiest staying with, she chose D&J which confirmed our gut instinct, and I'm so glad we did!

Wonderful

My daughter, aged 3 was with Dawn and Jimmy full time prior to starting school nursery. She absolutely adored her time with them both and was well cared for and entertained during that time. There was always something creative on the go, lots of time spent outdoors and she loved her food. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending them she really loved it and we had complete trust and confidence.

Brilliant

Dawn & Jimmy have been looking after my youngest since she was 8 months old. She settled in amazingly and loves her time with them. They’re always doing lots of fun things, taking them for walks, playing in the garden and have lots to keep them entertained and help them to learn and develop.
They now also have my eldest after school and she has settled in so quickly and is always happy to go after school and has even asked to go in the school holidays! This is testament to the lovely setting Dawn and Jimmy provide.

Just WOW!

Dawn and Jimmy offer the absolute perfect setting for my 2 and half year old, these guys are outstanding and the kids absolutely love spending time with them, they take them out for walks and do all sorts of fun and creative stuff with them.

My little one is always happy, well fed and clean, his talking has improved dramatically since he has started, Dawn always sends lovely photos and videos during the day of the fun things they do with the children whilst they are out and about, in the garden and indoors.

I trust Dawn & Jimmy completely with my child and am so glad I have found them, would 100% recommend.

No words other than “Amazing”

Dawn is an amazing childminder. I have 2 girls (2 years and 5 years old). Dawn has looked after both girls since they were 9months and 12 months old.

Before we met Dawn I used a different childminder for my eldest. Things did not work out and Dawn was recommended to me. From day dot with Dawn the whole experience was different and my little girl was immediately happier and so was I. Dawn made it feel like we had always known her and as if she had always been looking after my eldest. I knew I had made the right decision!

It has amazed me how quickly both my girls settled in, how soon they were taking their daytime naps (from day 1!) and how much care and attention Dawn gives my girls and the other children in her care. Dawn manages the perfect blend of activities, learning and fun for my girls. My eldest is now at school and she loves seeing Dawn in the half term breaks when Dawn still looks after her.

I cannot recommend Dawn highly enough!
