We use Lauren regularly to babysit our two boys. She is fantastic - kind, fun and really understands children! Our boys love being looked after by Lauren and she is alway reliable with fantastic communication. I would thoroughly recommend her for any family looking for a nanny.

Lauren looked after our now 9 year old son (James) for 2 and a bit years from late 2022, she is a wonderful nanny who we would recommend to anyone.
- Lauren is extremely reliable, which was really important to us as we were often going to work. In the whole time with us she was never late once with what was an early start (7.15).
- She was flexible around small changes to timings or the schedule, it always felt like she was working with us to help. As long as the ask was reasonable she would find a way to make it work.
- Lauren was really sensitive and thoughtful about James’ mood as well as all the practical stuff, and would let us know how his day had been, with sometimes a longer conversation about how he was doing more broadly. We both really valued this, particularly as we were parenting James across two homes.
- She listened to the way we wanted to parent James and adapted the same style. There was nothing radical here, but she was consistently respectful in how she spoke around James, was able to be authoritative when it was required (eg getting himself ready in the morning!) but always in a kind way, but could also tell the difference between “naughtiness” and acting up because it had been a long day etc.
- Above everything else, and for me the most important thing, Lauren is a really really kind and positive presence. She was like a ray of sunshine coming into the house each and we genuinely loved having her over. She is so easy to talk to, it felt like having a good friend over who was helping with James. She fit into the home environment seamlessly. Our James is a lovely boy (of course I am hopelessly biased!) but like all children he has his moment of “high spirits” and Lauren never had a cross word for him, she would maintain discipline if it was needed in a really calm and friendly way, she has the most lovely temperament around children and I completely trusted her not just to carry out all the tasks that needed doing but to treat James with respect and affection while doing it, which gave me such peace of mind.
We are very sad indeed that Lauren is leaving us, and whoever she next works for will be lucky to have her!

Lauren looked after my daughter for about 6-9 months as a nanny and occasional babysitter and was fantastic. Nothing was ever a problem or too much, always keen to please but firm with the children when she needed to be. She’s fun, sociable, great to be around and totally trustworthy. She mad my daughter had some really great times together. I would recommend her without hesitation.

Lauren was a lovely nanny to my two boys, She cared for them from January 2013 when they were 3 and 5 to May 2017. I then re-employed her in September 2018 to January 2020. She is responsible and conscientious, and has a strong work ethic - rarely off and always on time. She loved being with the children and creating fun, and I trusted her completely. She was kind but firm with the boys, and nothing was too much trouble. She created a safe, nurturing and engaging environment but was also able to manage daily routines, unexpected situations and both household and childcare needs with ease and confidence. Nothing was too much trouble, and she was always willing to help, both with the children and helping to smooth the wheels of daily life.
Lauren was compassionate and skilled nanny and I would thoroughly recommend her.

Lauren's first position as a sole charge, full time nanny was with us and she was absolutely fantastic. She has huge amounts of energy and is extremely reliable and honest. Lauren worked for us for about 7 months (it was a maternity cover position) and our children even now still have very fond memories of her. She was always happy to help and learn new things and fitted into our family perfectly. She loves playing with children, helping them with homework, going on trips and doing arts and crafts. However, she is also very willing to cook for the children, tidy up after the children and do children's washing etc. I can't rate Lauren highly enough. This was just brilliant.
