About Me
I am a fully Qualified, Experienced and Outstanding rated Ofsted childminder.
I work from home which enables me to offer extended hours including early morning and after school provision. My own family are now away at University or Working and living in London but I offer a warm and inviting family setting.
I aim to offer a broad approach to childminding which includes attending social activities together with an emphasis on educational and play activities. We are often outside and visit local attractions, parks and woods with walks. I am also keen for children to create and design, so we often do arts and crafts.
I support parents throughout the process of childminding provision and my focus is always the child's wellbeing and development.
I also set aside to improve and develop my own knowledge base and often complete courses and seminars which insures I am aware of the latest changes and best practices for my children.
My Experience
I have over 20 years experience in childcare. I started my career in a local nursery, progressed to a pre-school and have also worked as a full-time nanny. After starting my own family I progressed into running my own childminder service from home.

We literally moved to Faversham for Sally. We found her while we were staying in Faversham for 3 weeks and needed childcare. We immediately knew that she was everything we had hoped for and more. In addition to the Outstanding OFSTED rating, she innately understands and nurtures children's development. Her creative commitment to all adventures big (like farm/zoo visits) and small (like investigating a ladybird climbing up a flower in the garden) demonstrate a rare ability to truly see the world through a child's eyes and respectfully help them navigate their understanding of the world around them. The kids adore her and my daughter constantly tells us how much she loves Sally. We are regularly amazed by the practical and wonderful things she learns at Sally's - new words, concepts, manners, songs, games and more!
For parents, she is a comforting and flexible ally. She truly goes above and beyond to support what the whole family needs. Whether its behavioural developlment tips, activity recommendations, accommodating scheduling issues, or additional support coordination, she has gently guided us 1st time parents with knowledge and compassion. She is respectful, an insightful problem-solver, and embodies emotional intelligence. We pack our own food for our daughter, but when there is a special treat or a sudden hungry growth spurt, Sally is careful to ensure everything is allergy safe and approved by us. She is also diligent on sharing how and what our child did that day - celebrating achievements and reporting any incidents that have occurred while playing.
I am so grateful that Sally had space to take on our daughter and provided us with the reason to move to Faversham. We have been with her for two years and counting. Parenting can be hard and stressful - and it is a relief knowing that my daughter is in the most nurturing and knowledgeable hands.
