My Summary
About Me
Hello my name is Joseph, I'm 31 years old. I live in Flitwick in Bedfordshire!
Currently I am doing personal training and teaching swimming each evening. I am also a semi professional photographer which makes me a bit more occupied in the summer.
I have a laid back, fun & caring personality, especially towards children.
I've played electric & acoustic guitar for over 9 years and really enjoy it.
I have my YouTube channel, I also teach beginners how to play in my spare time.
I have to note that i am not a qualified guitar teacher, just do it for fun.
My main passion is riding, talking and watching motorbikes. I having been riding since i was 16 years old, I have gone touring around Europe a few times on my motorbike while camping with my brother and father. We have visited France, Germany and Italy while travelling.
I also studied art & design in college so I love to draw and do artistic stuff such as fine art, painting, graphics & photography.
I cook everyday which i really enjoy, including my favourite meals like sweet & sour chicken, spaghetti bolognese and easy meals like burger & chips!
I have decided to get involved with 'Childcare.co.uk' to offer my teaching & babysitting skills to everybody in and around Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire and to also get feedback from my customers so i can look to improve my service & skills.
My Experience
I was a senior lifeguard for 3 years which included supervising a swimming pool, cleaning jobs and helping out with the football pitch outside. During this job have plenty of experience dealing with first aid, having dealt with falls, bumps, cuts, heavy bleeding and Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
I currently have been working as a part time swimming teacher in varies swimming pools in Hertfordshire & also London borough pools. I have taught children with varies abilities/skills how to swim. This does include children with special needs such as epilepsy, Congenital heart disease, Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and the average naughty children.
I also teach adults every week as well as children.
I have also worked in a morning nursery which we took care of children before school while their parents went to work. Most of the morning was keeping the children amused and entertained while me and my colleagues made breakfast for them. After breakfast we then walked the children to school and dropped them off at their classes.
I also work in the gym and help people achieve their own fitness goals everyday. This includes writing out personal programmes for individual clients in the gym and in the pool.
I'm currently working towards a personal training qualification.
Please note i only have experience of caring for children of 3 years and older. Unfortunately I have no idea how to take care of a baby, just to make that clear.

Jo is fabulous with our son. He is always punctual and reliable. He has an excellent rapport with our son and our son has fun while learning.
Since our son has started with no he has progressed hugely.
Would definitely recommend him.
Joseph has been teaching my daughters (4 and 5 years old) for about a year now. He is a great teacher, very passionate about what he does, super reliable and he is very good with kids.

Loved working with your children at your home. Thank you for your feedback.
What can i say other than if your looking for a good swimming teacher this would be it, Joseph has a fantastic approach towards teaching children.
He has taught my daughter for over a year now and she always looks forward to her lessons and talks about Joe at home.
Joe has a very laid back, caring and fun personality.
We will continue to be going to Joe's lessons every week, the only bad thing I have to say is the numbers in the lessons due to the leisure centre itself.
My daughter has had swimming lessons with Joe for the past 1.5-2 years. She thoroughly looks forward to her lessons with Joe. He is very easy going and has a fantastic approach to teaching he children. My daughter has made fantastic progress under Joe's guidance. He is by far the best swimming teacher my daughter has had.
Keep up the good work Joe!
Joe teaches 2 of my children (aged 3 & 5) swimming. Prior to starting lessons with Joe, my children lacked confidence in the water and were not making significant progress with their swimming. Joe built up an instant rapport with them and they trusted him from the outset. They now look forward to their swimming lessons and respond well to Joe's teaching, making real improvement.
I would thoroughly recommend Joe as a swimming teacher.
